Hi,

I am thinking of buying a fretless Stingray that currently has a lined fretless rosewood neck, I love the bass but really want to have a fretless lined ebony neck fitted. Can it be done? Can anyone recommend a top luthier to carry out the task and if anyone has a ball park figure I woul dbe most grateful.

Cheers,
Steve.

It can certainly be done - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/57742-sold-musicman-stingray-5-fretless-ebony-board

This one was done by John Diggins (Jaydee guitars)
