ceilidhswinger Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I'm looking for an Underwood or Shadow pick up at the moment, I'm using Fishman BP100 just now which I like for the most part but seems to choke on the G string. I did buy the K&K Sound Bass Master Pro Upright Bass Pickup System but took it off, couldn't get a good sound from it. I swapped it for a spare BP100 and some other bits and pieces. I also have a magnetic Schaller which has a good sound but being metal, rattles like a jailers keys when amplified. Obviously changed G string, sounds fine acoustically, tried positioning pup paddles, changed bridges. I guess try another type of pup?
