Epiphone Thunderbird is my weapon of choice going through a Laney RB9 head and a real old 1x15 with an HH speaker. Been doing lots of gigs with my band Hectors House this year and as a result of this my trusty Laney has died, luckily at rehearsal!! This is what brings me to basschat. I don't really get the chance to go and test loads of different amps and cabs so i have to rely on other peoples reviews and comments to get an idea. Anyway, i'll be looking for a new head. I quite like the look of the Hartke LH500 or Ampeg PF350 I've started building 2 of the Bill Fitzmaurice Jack 10's Quite enough rambling from me anyway!!! How are your cab builds going? I've built my own cabs in the last couple of years (my own designs) & I'm very happy with the results, but haven't really been able to compare them directly with anything else.
