[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif][size=4][color=#000080]I play in a classic rock covers band phoenix rising. My basses are Sandberg California Custom and a Vintage v940 fretless. My main amp is Ibanez promethean 10" combo, this has recently replaced my mark bass cmd 102 combo and 151 cab due to me being disabled and not being able to lift anything too heavy (anything over 10 kilos is heavy for me now!). [/color][/size][/font]

[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif][size=4][color=#000080]I have been playing for 6 years, learning whilst being laid up for 3 months after an accident and getting bored outa my mind with daytime tv lol.[/color][/size][/font]

Hi Stevie,
I only joined this site yesterday so I'm a newbie as well (at age 49)
I play in a band called "The Phoenix Band" here at Stafford !! I know exactly what you mean about being ill. I've been off work for 6 months with cancer, but my bass runs and scales have improved loads with all the practice.
Hope we both get some good tips from the website.
