Chinese made Fenders

Purchased a new Chinese “crafted” Fender Jazz Bass, in white. One of the new "Modern Player Range" of guitars. Bad points: Painted surface finish is similar to a fridge or washing machine. Did not get a gig bag with it. Good points: It’s cheap, £400. It was easy to set up, and plays really well with a nice low action without lots of fret buzzing. Unlike my two Mexican Fenders, a Precision Blacktop and Jazz, both of which suffer from fret buzz, even though I have adjusted the set up several times. The Chinese guitar is light weight, and would not give you back ache at gigs. Also has a fast neck on it, gloss urethane finish. Lastly, the twin double humbuckers on the Chinese guitar make for a good range of sound. All in all, £400 quid well spent me thinks!
