I've been playing electric bass for about 7 years now, currently im a student in west Wales, studying something completely unrelated to music, but recently I start to feel that music is my true passion and I must take it to "the next level" At the moment I'm practicing by my own, just on spring this year I've been playing bass in Broadway musical "RENT", which was performed by "Aber Curtain Call" musical theatre society. I will be looking for a band somewhere near my location. I own Squier precision bass, which is quite nice and Gallien-Krueger MB115, which is absolutely amazing bass combo. My plan is to get nice jazz bass (MIM or squier) and later on Lakland 5501 or 5502, I really adore Laklands I listen to almost all music genres, but for playing bass my favourites are funk, r&b, hip hop, rock, blues. I think we have similar taste in basses - i had a Lakland 5501 which was fantastic - i just didn't want 5 strings in the end. Great preamp. Very funky sounding.
