Sadly, selling one of my fave basses. It's a great sounding and playing bass - has the feel of a more expensive instrument altogether! It has a brand new set of Overwater nickle strings on.

Here's a description:

The Ibanez SR506 bass guitar has superb tonal flexibility and incredible six-string dynamics. The core Soundgear philosophy has not changed since its debut in 1987 : a modern bass for players who want a thin, fast neck, and the ability to dial in any tone for any genre-from complex electric jazz to raging metal. The 2008 Soundgear has continued this tradition while adding a modern flavour. The SR506-BM has an attractive mahogany body, slim and fast 5 piece SR6 Jatoba/Bubinga bolt-on neck, a rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval inlays and 24 medium frets. The B106 bridge keeps the tuning stability well. The Ibanez SR 506 also features the versatile Bartolini MK1 pickups and onboard Bartolini MK1 3-band eq with separate bass, mid and treble boost/cut control knobs plus Volume and Balance.

The main features of the Ibanez SR506 include:

•Highly versatile electric bass with active EQ
•Thinner neck with a thinner nut than traditional basses
•Lightweight, balanced, comfort-contoured body
•Active EQ's perfectly matched with the right choice of pickups
•5pc SR6 Jatoba/Bubinga bolt-on neck
•Mahogany body
•Rosewood Fingerboard with abalone oval inlays
•Scale: 864mm/34 inch
•Width at Nut: 54mm
•24 Medium frets
•Cosmo Black, CK hardware
•Ibanez/Gotoh Sealed die cast tuners
•B106 bridge (16.5mm string spacing)
•Bartolini MK1 Neck Pickup
•Bartolini MK1 Bridge Pickup
•Equaliser: Bartolini MK1 3-band eq
•Volume, Balancer and Bass/Mid/Treble Boost/Cut controls

There's a few small dings on the body (see pics), but overall in excellent condition and has a great set up.

SOLD

Wow, £200 is an absolute bargain, one of the basses i have always wanted and never owned, i even ended up on this bass in Manny's in New York, literally surrounded by boutiques this bass still stood out.

My Streamers (Girlfriend...) wouldn't allow me to have this, someone grab a bargain, its pocket money price!

Ah no not yet not yet LOL!!! Was gonna put up a wanted add for one of these after I've flogged one of my 5-stringers because I'm in major want and need for an SR 6-string. Way better to play Technical Death Metal on than my BTB or TRB (Both very big, bulky 35" scale basses) and here is one...

That price is very low man...bargain here!
If this don't go soon, I may well have to snap it up.
