Changing cab impedence

Is there any fairly easy way to change my 4ohm cam into an 8 ohm cab?
i want to run two 8 ohm cabs, with the total minimum of 4 ohms.....

basically i have a 250 watt amp wiht the minimum impedance of 4ohms, and i already have a 4 ohm cab which i want to keep, as it is part of a combo...
I want to add an 8 ohm 4x10 cab to my rig and the only way to do this as far as i can see is making my current cab 8ohms (if thats possible,)
i know i could run them in series or whatever, but then the impedance would be 12 oms or something, and thats too high in my books!

cheers, Pete.
