dc2009 Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 Attached is a photo of my 4 effects pedals, obviously, the best way to figure out what works for me would be to try them in various orders, but with the wealth of sounds available in each one, does anyone have any idea how would be best to order them. Is there an online guide perhaps, or a general rule of thumb to which I am not aware. In case it's not obvious from the photo, in no particular order they are: An EHX Q-Tron+ USA envelope filter An EHX Bassballs (Russian) A Boss ODB-3 bass overdrive A Boss CEB-3 bass chorus Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

phil.i.stein Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 start with the industry standard. overdrive/fuzz>filter>chorus then see if they sound better a different way around. and post the results.. ..im not being funny with you ! everyone's equipment works better in different ways, so there is no pure answer to this age-old conundrum.
