dave_bass5 Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) Well i thought i was happy with the tone im getting from my CV P but i cant help feel i can get a bit better. Its got a good thump, and thats what i wanted but i think i would prefer something that has less thump and a smoother low end. The stock pup is a bit to mellow so im looking for something in between. I do like the tone a Fender 2008+ MIA gets, and ive played a P with a 62RI in it so either of those would also be welcome. Im in no rush to get rid of it though, and could live with it. I doubt ill buy another pup for it but if anyone fancies a swap get in touch. Its only a couple of weeks old. Im not offering any cash as well, so just a straight swap.
