been on here a while and can't figure out how to have a profile picture. it's on my profile fine but when i post anything then i have a blank space next to my name. i'm sure this is simple but my feeble mind could do with some advice.

I can see what's happened here. Your profile picture is what appears on your member profile page. If you click where your name is next to one of your posts you will see a small version of it coupled with options like "view member profile", etc... What you want for the pic that appears in your posts, is the [i]avatar[/i] .
