parker_muse Posted November 14, 2010 Share Posted November 14, 2010 Hey guys, I'm looking at getting one of these heads to sit on a Marshall 7215 - so i'd be pushing 500 watts at 4ohms. What are your opinions on the head? I've heard that they're heavy but i've not actually heard that much about the tonal qualities of the head. I just want something I can get a 'big' bassy sound out of it for my ska - it'll be being pushed by a Westone Thunder Jet with flats. Mhmmmmm. Mr. Foxen Posted November 14, 2010 Share Posted November 14, 2010 Semi parametric midm contour and loads of interesting connectors, so you have a fair few tone options. you can do interesting stuff with the crossover,including sticking a Y cable in and back into the amp, so you get a high/low balance, and also low passing the whole thing for total dub madness.
