1. It's with a heavy heart that I'm selling my Eastwood Airline Map Bass in Seafoam Green. It's an absolutley gorgeous instrument and the level of craftsmanship/build quality is outstanding.

    Will accept £300.

I've fitted my usual EMG BTC Control to it which can be removed if buyer requests. The bass is immaculate in condition and I paid nearly £600 for it earlier this year. Unfortunately new car forces sale :-(

Here's a link to the Eastwood page on this bass - http://www.eastwoodg...p-bass-seafoam/

And here's a pic of me playing the actual bass for sale with The Animals in Kazakhstan the other week...

    Cheers Tim.

The bass is my SWB-1. I came up with the design after years of trying/modding almost every type of bass under the sun and had it built by Brian Eastwood. Here's a link to a video all about it...

  6. Hi!

I've got a couple of free slots free for one to one tuition either in person or via Skype. I normally charge £80 per lesson but am making an offer of £40 per lesson for Basschat members.

Here are a few of my free video lessons which should give you an idea of my teaching style.

Thanks for checking out my post :-)

  7. Good morning!!

Just got back yesterday from a short tour with the Animals and found myself too tired to do anything except sit at the computer lol! Sooooo... I decided to create a 'Free Bass Lesson Library' type of thing on my website. It puts all of me free bass lesson videos into one easy to navigate place.

I'll keep updating it as I make new videos.

Just one very small ask - If you like or find any of my lessons useful PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE share in at least one place (Facebook, Twitter, Email etc). It takes me hours to produce these free videos and any help spreading the word is VERY MUCH appreciated!!! :-)

Crud - it's because I play along to a clip of a Chilli Peppers tune. I will see if there's a way round this and try and get the beggar playing again.

    Sorry about that :-(

Cracking bassline/playing. Would take me months to work that out by ear.
I just take stuff like this two or three notes at a time, rewind, rewind, rewind, rewind, rewind.....

Next three notes, rewind, rewind, rewind, rewind, rewind.....

    ...etc. lol! :-)

  10. Just had to work out & learn the bass line to Rabbit by Chas'n'Dave for a gig tomorrow.

Oh my word - what a GREAT bass line that is!!! What fun!? :-) Peacock's a genuis.

...Definitely going to be doing a bass lesson on this asap.

  11. Just had to export a bass tgrack for a friend of mine who's transcribing it.

As I was listening I thought I'd share it (I think) sounds kinda cool! It's the Farida FJB-6 on it (with the EMG BTC Control).

    See what you think :-)
