Right after I'd knocked a few lumps out of it doing a "Townsend". It was a fitting end to a very poor copy and the most fun I ever had with it.

I don't get complete cutouts but do get occasional volume drops for second or 2 with my Samson Airline. This can happen several times during a gig. The signal is still there just goes quiet. Definately not a line of sight issue and tried all the obvious things, new batts, different leads, proximity to other gear etc to no avail. What's more, I cannot get it to fault at home/rehersals which is bugging the hell out of me. SO much so I'm temporarily back to using leads. Wondering if it has the same cause as the complete cut outs?

Bought a 3mm thick black waxy saddle leather hide from fleabay for about £45 delivered and cut 7 straps varying from 2-3.5 inch wide out of it. Now the whole band have shiny new custom cut straps for a princely sum of £7 each. What's more I have enough off cuts to make one or 2 more for my next GAS attack. Bargain!
