Remember almost buying this off you a few years back (think someone beat me to it, can't really remember) - I guess you got it back. Loved the look of it then and still do. Sorted for fretless now, but this is such a lovely thing.

Bought a lovely old BB2000 fretless off Kieran. What a lovely guy to deal with. Kieran had the good grace to hold the bass for me for two weeks and then bring it out of London to meet me at my gig at Bishop's Stortford and deliver the bass. This fella is the real deal, chaps! Thanks so much Kieran, hope you can stay for the gig next time mate ;-)

Tough one Chris but I'd be inclined to leave it fretless. I came across SO many altered versions of the fretted in the long search for mine. Always wanted a stock model, unaltered and it was so disappointing seeing so many modified versions of the bass. It's lovely to see this rare beast in its factory state.

That's just me though, its not my decision of course. Haven't stopped looking at this since its been up, would love to have "the set," so to speak; fretted and fretless. Alas, the funds are non existent. Mrs K would bin bag me in an instant if I dared to buy this!!!

I've used Trace stuff for 20 years now, I think you'd be fine with this for medium sized gigs, especially if you add a second cab. With two cabs you're getting the full benefit of the 250 watts (into 4 ohms) and don't forget, these are Trace watts. These older British made models were always underrated watts wise ;-)

Oh,how I would love this! I own the fretted version, same colour, slightly younger though, a 1984. Best bass I've had, a keeper for life! Alas, the funds are non-existent for this beauty. GLWTS though ;-)

Recently bought a bass from Dave (Nibody) and played it through this beast, sounded amazing! Dave's a top bloke guys, buy with confidence ;-)
