They all look a bit 'meh' to me, especially compared to the previous series. Just seem to have slightly less character than before, a bit like a lot of modern cars all look the same now, designed by committee.

Reminded me of the Top Gear episode where they re-enact the Peugeot board meeting for designing new Peugeots -
My Status Trace Elliot SE T-Bass is my keeper for life I reckon. Had it a few year now and it still wow's me each time I play it. It just sounds and plays awesome!
Oh also my first ever bass. My Peavey Milestone III, the bass that kick started my love for bass. I didn't even want to learn bass funny how things turn out. -

No it isn't - it's cheaper, that's why Leo changed from stacked pots.

You! Congrats NAD thread soon? -
Went in, tried to have a shot of one of the Yamaha BB range but the staff were too busy. Hung about for 30-40 mins waiting for someone but they were too busy.
My wallet thanks them. -

I'm in GG tomorrow. Help me if they've got these discounted yamahas in.
£300 off list price for that 1025x -

Yup, pretty sure GuitarGuitar and others have already been discounting stock. GG have the 1025x at £599 if that's cheap enough for you?

Don't say things like that!! -

Is no headless. The octave strings are tuned at the body end, but the bass strings aren't. Still looks like fun though and yes I'd love to try it. I've often thought it'd be nice to have an 8/10 string to muck about with.

That just messed with my head. I'd hate to tune that. -

Bit of an interesting one this.10 string (Octave?) and headless.
Don't see one of these every day.
Anyone ever tried one? -
That's a looker that! Congrats

Found a Taylor 210 within budget. Anyone had any experience with these?
