1. I'll not buy it by asking you never to sell it to me, ever. My offer is: a 1993 Fiat Punto and a labrador puppy. Might throw in a pencil.
2. Yamaha 2002 BB-605 5-String Active Bass in Natural Finish. Needs Help. All working in good order, but with cracks in headstock that can either be daftly ignored (in my case) or repaired. The pics (4/4a) show the problem: On noticing hairline cracks coming from the tuning peg holes (mainly G, very slight to D), I immediately detuned the strings and sought out repair to the headstock. I was quoted £60 a few years ago to attach a CNC cut 4mm hardwood layer to the back of the headstock, thus preventing any further growth of the cracks. However, the repair service closed up, the bass in its case went back in the loft, and that was that. I was also told that it could be fixed with some skilled use of the right epoxy and a well-placed bit of clamping, but i'm not brave enough for the task. You could also fit another new neck straight on, if you know your gear (yup, I don't). A great, rare, immensely playable bass that deserves a bit of love to get working again. Tensions up fine for playing, by the way. Sounds like new, no corrosion to circuits and all EQ pots working fine. Active/Passive modes with NE-1 EQ all working great. Blurb: "This BB Series 5-string model features a built-in NE1 Parametric EQ and the BBNE2 Nathan East style body silhouette. Solid Alder Body, 5-String Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, 24 Frets, Single Coil Pickups, Nathan East NE-1 Parametric EQ, Diecast Chrome Tuners/Hardware." Give a poorly bass a good home. These have been going for £250-£300 in decent used nick, hence 50% off: yours for a bargain £125. Location: Buxton/South Manc, May deliver for around +£15 posted (4kg weight). Happy to help with any queries where I can.
