3.
What a beauty. There should be law against advertising basses like that, it doesn't help some of us to sleep well!
A sound nights sleep is only one purchase away! It is indeed a lovely bass. The time has come for a new home though. Will consider sensible offers on this one.
 4. For sale is my Fender 1962 AVRI. Much like the P/J bass that i'm selling, it just doesnt get played enough to justify keeping it Specs are - Stack knob, T/V, T/V, Black body with Tort guard, very pretty rosewood board with clay dots, orange tint maple neck. It comes with all the case candy as seen in the pictures. Strap, Lead, plates, mutes etc and correct case. The other rare thing about this one is that the bridge cover and mutes etc have never been fitted so the holes are not drilled into the body. Condition - This is a 90's model and the overall condition is good for a 20 year old bass. It is not showroom condition as it has been played and has marks. The two most noticable are one on the front, just above the control panel (see pictures) and second is the paint is slightly lifted around the neck plate (again see pictures) I purchased this from Vintage and Rare in London around 8 years ago and believe I am the second owner. I have put rotosound 45-105's on this and it sounds great. A very good example of this model of bass. Price wise, looking for £1100 ono. Thanks

 8.
That's a '97, they were replaced around 99 by the Fender Precision Bass Special, Deluxe Series. The Cali's are a great model. Good luck, good job you are in a different time zone to Wigan
thank you for the extra info Karlfer and thank you everyone for the kind words. Its a great little bass, just doesn't get played as much as it should. All PM's replied to I believe.
 9. For sale is my Fender California series Precision Bass. Black, maple board with gold anodised scratch plate. P/J set up V/V/T, with a Jazz bass neck. As far as I know these were built between 1998 and 2002 using American parts, the bodies were then sent off to be sprayed in Mexico with final assembly taking place in the USA. As a result, the bass has Made in USA on the headstock with an AMXN serial number. (If i've got my info wrong and someone knows more about these, please correct me on this) Many people say the build quality on these is superior to the Mexican made Precision Special which replaced this series (i have not tried the Mex version so cannot back this up) The bass is in good condition, no major dings or chips, but is in used condition. Neck is nice and straight with loads of life left in the frets. I will give it a set up with fresh rotosound 45-105's and will also include an hardcase. I've had this bass for around 7 years now and the reasons for the sale are - 1.) It really doesnt get played as much as it should, sadly its spent more time locked away than being played. 2.) I'm GASsing like a Mother****er for a Jazz bass that i've seen Price wise, looking for [s]£550[/s], which is a steal for an American quality P. PRICE DROP DOWN TO £500 **ON HOLD** Collection based about 10 miles north of Brighton. Any Questions let me know!
