Just completed my Filter board extension for the HX loop. It works just how I wanted!! This is with everything hooked up - no digital noise, we seem to be up and running!
the sounds on offer from this lot are endlessly creative. I started making the filter board because I had much loved pedals I wasn’t using: now I remember why I love the QTron, the funk face and the Soundblox envelope filter. The SYB-5 managed to fit, and the new pedals - the digitech, the lovely prunes and custard clone I bought from @LukeFRC and the B-tron, all have something to bring. FUN!
And the Drolo Kiwami is BONKERS (another great BassChat purchase from @Lunoxx!) . I repaired that one by replacing a gain knob, fiddly but so rewarding, that thing makes the maddest noises!
… love the idea of breakout boards. I’m considering doing that sort of thing, one utility type board (tuner, comps, HP filter etc) with a loop on it to boards for either fretted, fretless or blynth (bass line synth 😁). Could potentially do it all on Nano’s, mmm, time to ponder 🤔 -

Hey all,
I've just bought a board from Seva, no issues at all. It was a good price, there were clear comms and a quick and well packaged delivery.
I'd happily deal with again no issues.
Peace.

Hey all,
Just sold Dan a board he was after, a no nonsense straight forward deal, prompt replies and paid super quick.
Great BCer who I would happily deal with again.
Peace.

… I’ve just got a DSI Mopho module, wanted to compare the sound against the Sub25 and BSII. I think I need to stop at three blynths lol. BUT I did play a mates LittlePhatty at church the other weekend and liked the look of the 3rd octave 😂

Hey all,
I get the pleasure of starting a feedback thread for Hammer_
I recently bought a Low Pass + High Pass filter pedal from Hammer_, all good as the comms were great, the delivery was quick and the pedal was as described.
I would happily deal with again no issues.
Peace.

Great comps these, if I had to have only 1 comp this would seriously be a top contender folks. They are as simple or complex as you want!!

… just don’t price up boards, keeps things more manageable in my book 🤪

... I'm currently running a board with an Origin Effects Bass Comp going into a DCX Bass ending with a Radial JDi and the folks at FOH have said the sound is very easy to work with. Depending on how the DCX is EQ'd will wary, but I tend not to have much grit at all tbh. Also sounds nice in my IEMs tbf. I was planning on having a Lusithand Alma comp at the end, to mimic the 1176 LA1A pairing, but not got around to building that board yet!!

… out of interest is the Compressore the older yellow or newer black enclosure?

Pm’d earlier RE Broughton 👍🏻

Hi, nice selection of pedals. Is any postage to UK included at all please? Peace.

… I’ve got two OC2s, but would hesitate to modify them. I know they’d be better for it sonically, but I seem to prefer originality. Let us know how easy it is to do, and a before and after sound clip would be very interesting to hear if possible please?

... just emailed Moog (via InMusic) and all the Subsequents were/are made at their NC factory. Maybe the last batch were rushed? Anyhow still sounds great however the QC is!!

… just checked and it has Made In The USA on the InMusic labelled outer cardboard box it came in. Out of interest I bought a DeckSaver for it and it’s didn’t
fit (2 of them didn’t), the wood end cheeks were too deep for it to fit over properly. I’ll just use a sheet for dust and get a flight case to cart it about. Any thoughts on one of the Thor specific cases you can get off Thomann?
-
... yeah it was one of the last made in Janurary 2025 ones, and AFAIK made in the USA. Got a wonky key (high C) but plays lovely. I had a look at one for sale in a localish music shop used, and that was the same manufacturing date (I think the last batch made at the factory), and that had a loose pitch wheel, and had gaps were different to my one. More of a minor point, some of the controls had/have a pretty loose potentionmeter pot feel, function perfectly, just wasn't sure what to expect tbh.
Either way the price was reasonble, I also bought a 10 year warranty and got £40 back for the wonky key, so for what it is I'll manage lol!
I didn't think any of the Subsequent 25s were made anywhere else apart from the Ashville. The Mini Moog and Subsequent 37s are still made there I believe, but other ones I think are overseas now.
I was tempted to either get a Sub Phatty, Sub 37 or Subequent 37 as the 3 octave keybed would be helpfull, but not having any warranty if not bought new (well and the price for a Subsequent 37) are putting me off ha ha!
I also have a Novation Bass Station II and like that one a lot also.

Great price for one of these 😍

… you can buy hand held strip heaters for this very thing. They do look a bit like hair straighteners, but are definitely not (you’d burn your hair if you tried lol)
