I have recently started playing bass in a band and now have a couple of guitars sitting about doing nothing.

Ideally I'd like to sell them but I'm also interested in trades for pedals (muff fuzz or tube screamer ), bass stuff (pickups to fit a yamaha rbx jazz/ precision set) or something else interesting - possibly a bass

Although the Cort brand may not be that familiar, the Cort factory in Korea also produce great guitars for brands such as Ibanez, ESP, Schecter and G&L.

This is a lovely guitar with top of the range hardware.

* quilted maple top in sunburst finish
* Seymour Duncan pickups:
neck & middle - vintage staggered single-coil
bridge - TB-4 (tremolo version of the SH-4 JB model)
* 5-way selector switch; one volume control, one tone with push-pull coil tap for the bridge pickup.
* satin finish maple neck with rosewood fingerboard
* wilkinson trem
* locking tuners
* roller nut, roller string trees
* satin chrome hardware

The range of tones from the 3 Seymour Duncans makes this a very versatile guitar, from the vintage Strat-like twang of the single coils to the modern rock tones of the bridge humbucker, which can also be coil-split to give single-coil tones on its own or combined with the middle pickup.

I have had this well-looked after guitar for a year, and the bloke before me had it for about 3 years. It has one blemish - a small lacquer chip on the headstock (see close-up photo). There are a few tiny belt scratches on the back but only what you'd expect from light use. I have always treated this guitar well and have never gigged it. It was professionally set up last October with 10's

RRP for the current G290 model (very similar except with EMG pickups) is £769, retailing on-line for about £650.

I've had this since new in 2004 when I bought it to relearn guitar on while in a shared student house with thin walls.

Its acoustic- but quite quiet,
Its acoustic but has a low almost electric action.
Its electro acoustic so I thought if I ever needed more volume I could plug it in.

It had a setup in 2010 from millennium guitars in Nottingham. Its set up for 10's, plays nicely and sounds ace through an amp.

Its not in perfect condition, couple of chips (that are pictured) on the front and some scratches from pics on the front as well.

Almost no fret wear- also pictured.

I thought it was the perfect beginners guitar- nice to play, looks cool, no need for an amp, hard wearing body and fine to take on stage plugged in.

I've got a lovely acoustic, a lovely electric but I really only have time for bass and as its sat about unused for the last year or so its time to sell.

pickups, VVC - Voice Contour Control, Buzz Feiten Tuning System, Black hardware with a matte

charcoal finish. Made in Korea.

Condition: Good, a couple of dings and light scratches. Matte finish starting to shine with

use on the back of the neck and lower bout etc. Frets in good shape with plenty of life

left. Lovely low action

inlays, New tuners to replace the original buzzing ones, Tune-O-Matic bridge, 2 x Wilkinson

Double Coil MWVC pickups, Cherry Sunburst finish with chrome hardware.

Condition: good, virtually unplayed with no scratches or wear. One pickup ring screw

missing. Frets look brand new. A couple of chips to the lacure in the headstock where I

enlarged the holes to fit the tuners and the new tuners have a different screw pattern to

the old ones.

I have introduced myself before but all my old posts (about 5) seem to have vanished. So, hello again!

I played loads of bass when I was at school but never did much after. I got back into playing guitar about a year ago but when i try and jam with people all I want to do i play bass parts:)

So its time to give up the guitar and get back to bass(ics). (Couldn't resist)

It has a lovely short scale and was very easy to learn on. It has a lovely action and the neck is great.

It is not in the best of condition. I sanded it to remove all the dents and then tried to fill some with some kind of filler with the intention of painting it. I never got round to painting it as I liked the look of it as it was. The finish that you see in the pictures is a mix of sanding sealer (most of the flat areas) bare wood ( areas that were sanded to remove dents) and some filler ( the slightly darker areas).

The jack socket is a bit ropey, sometimes it can cut out. I guess it needs a clean and some joint soldered?

There is a chip in the pick guard and some screws are missing. One of the original screws is missing from the tuners and has been replaced with a fitting, but not matching one. I’m not sure if the controls are original, one might be, one looks like the dial off a strat. The chrome has peeled off or been scraped off in some areas of the bridge and tuners.

I had the frets done not long after I bought it but some of the frets show some wear.

I don’t really know how the condition affects the price I realise that this is far from mint condition, so offers around £300? If thats not a realistic let me know.

I will be back in Nottingham on Monday and it can be viewed by arrangement, although I only have a headphone amp to listen to it through.
