Superb bass. Just taking the hammer to the piggy bank. Will be in touch when I've finished counting pennies...
-
No, my comment was in support of a sale and in support of a fellow bass player. Previous comments were, in the very least unhelpful. If a comment needs to be made about lack of clarity or ambiguity then surely a polite PM would be more helpful than filling a thread with negative chat. I won't respond further as I am obviously in danger of filling a 'sale' thread with chat ;0))))
-
Just gotta say Pierre is a great guy to deal with so buy/trade in total confidence.
Also have to say that there is a 'General duscussion' section for 'chat' and this is a sale/trade section!! Also have to agree that a PM tends to get answered quickly as it notifies your email, whilst general chatty comments are only available once you visit your thread. As most of us are generally busy folk, continually browsing your thread in anticipation of a 'comment' isn't a priority.
No doubt get some flak for the comments... -

I have two sets of Hennessey Black Straplocks. These are fantastic and are some of the best I've ever used. These strap locks are brand new and are just sitting on the shelf waiting for their chance to be on stage
I'll sell each set of strap locks for £10 including postage. Buy both sets for £18 inc postage to UK mainland.
Details here: http://www.onstagestands.com/specsheets/Guitar%20Stands%20and%20Accessories/NSL7200.pdf -
These are brand new John East control knobs in black. There are two stacked and three single knobs. I bought them a few weeks ago but changed my mind and kept the original control knobs on my bass. As a result these knobs are no longer required.
The details are:
LOWER KNOB
•Diameter: 20.0mm
•Height: 11.5mm
•For Shaft Diameter: 8.0mm
UPPER KNOB
•Diameter: 15.0mm
•Height: 12.0mm
•For Shaft Diameter: 6.0mm
SINGLE KNOB
•Diameter: 17.5mm
•Height: 15.0mm
•For Shaft Diameter: 6.0mm
If you go to http://www.east-uk.com/ search under products for knobs and you'll see the pictures and technical stuff. The cost to me was £6.44 for the singles and £9.60 for the stacked: £38.52 in total. I will sell them for £25including postage. -
Boomp for a slight price reduction.

Phil also bought my brand new cover for the Mesa cab. All round great guy.

This needs little introduction! I need to get rid of one of effects units and, as the HD300 seems reluctant to leave, I'm offering up my GT6.
It's in great condition, has everything you need for all those sounds you've dreamt of and more! Comes with a Gator gig bag and manual.
Plenty of reviews available and you don't need me to show you what they look like - they're red with Boss written on 'em! ;0)) -
Bump. Make me an offer?
-
BUmp for trade option.
Looking for a lightweight combo of similar quality. Either Genz, EBS, Markbass etc. -
Pic of amp section.

Looking to sell my Mesa Scout Combo. It's in mint condition and sounds absolutely fantastic - producing a stunning range of sounds and handles a low B easily! Can't fault the sound at all, with the amp section producing such a variety of sounds that'll keep anyone happy
This is the 4ohm, 12" version, meaning that you get the full 300w at your disposal. You can link another cab with it, and there is plenty of discussion on this site about that. Loads of details at: http://www.mesaboogi...t/WalkScout.htm
And a review here: http://www.mesaboogi...outScout-GB.htm
The Scout comes complete with the original Mesa protective cover and manual. The Scouts cost around £1350 new, but I'm happy to let this go for -
More pics as requested.

For sale or preferably trade is my brand new Marleaux fretless bass. It's a beautiful bass, immaculate construction and a massive tonal range from the Bart pups. The body is a gorgeous pear wood and the whole bass is very light. The bass is mint, has never been gigged, never left the house and the only reason I'm considering parting with it is because I have come to the conclusion that a 5 string fretless just isn't me! There is a brand new hard case with the bass.

HI
Just wondering if anyone can help out with the bass tab for Street Life?
Many thanks -
Phil bought my spare Mesa Walkabout cab. Great guy to deal with. Very highly recommended.

Mint condition POD HD300 for sale. Only used a couple of times in the house as I always use my Boss GT for gigs. The POD comes boxed and has a Gator effects bag with it (great condition too). These are on sale at £259 (GAK) and the Gator bag is about £25. So, as the POD is mint, only a few weeks old and comes with a Gator bag,

Line 6 details:
The Line 6 POD HD300 Amp Modeler and Multi Effect represents a giant leap forward for amp modeling.
The Line 6 POD HD300 is the only multi-effect pedal to boast 16 state-of-the-art Line 6 HD amp models, 100+ modern and vintage-styled M-class effects, and a super-comprehensive digital and analog I/O. The HD amp models defy the accepted standard. They feel, behave, and interact with previously unachievable realism.
The new modeling technology uses 10-times more amplifier information than before, including single-ended class A tube stages, class AB push/pull interactions, power supply behavior, and more. The result is unprecedented, warmth, feel, sustain, and articulation for you to fall in love with.
Tube amp fanatics have long enthused that their favorite stacks and combos aren’t merely “amps,” but instruments themselves, with playability equal to that of the guitar plugged into them. New HD modeling takes the POD HD experience to that same exalted level, capturing the genuine playability that great guitarists demand.
Made famous by Line 6 M13 and M9 Stompbox Modelers, M-class FX are the new stage-standards. POD HD300 features a whopping 80+ M-class effects to craft your sound. With this wide tonal palette to play with, you can sound like anyone under the sun… or no one but you. Use up to 8 FX at once.
25+ distortions (from classic stompbox distortion to thick metal chunk), EQs and compressors (from stomp comps to studio tube compression), and pitch FX
30+ analog and digital delays (including cool tube and solid-state tape echoes), wahs, and reverbs (from surfy springs, to studio plates, to cutting-edge digital rooms)
25+ swirly phasers, filters (including several exclusive custom filters) and other mods (including blackface-style opto and brownface bias-modulating tremolos, choruses, and rotary speakers)
In addition to these classic sounds themselves, POD HD300 functions as a fully featured looping, pitch shifting, and harmonizing machine. Scale from an instantly routable signal chain up to the flexibility of a MIDI switching system and beyond, (even compiling several rigs within the POD HD300’s memory, storing a full rig per “slot” with total flexibility and direct access).
Smart FX make it a snap to quickly dial in your tone, and the free, easy to use editor/librarian software supports your deepest, darkest tonal explorations.
A snapshot of the back panel shows 1/4” and XLR outputs (mono/stereo), USB, MIDI in and out/thru, S/PDIF out, FX loop (mono/stereo), guitar and mic aux ins with mic level, Variax connection, expression pedal input and a L6 LINK jack for seamless integration with Line 6 DT50 tube amplifiers. -

Would anyone know if the neck twist thing is a major issue ?
Depends whether the twist is even along the neck. It is also worth finding if the neck has a single or double truss rod as this will have an impact on the cause/cure of the problem. It's worth getting a luthier's (Martin) opinion prior to purchase. Even so, it's a damn good price and well worth a punt
