  1. A piece of history 😀 This is a Wal Pro 1 lined fretless 4 string. With the launch of the Pro bass, at the end of 1977, early 1978, Electric Wood, the company that became Wal, started officially. This bass is from 1978 - based on the serial number and verified by the Wal database.

The bass features the famous single Wal pick-up and a small switch that provides a series/parallel mode. The simple volume and tone control give you precisely what you need with no frills! The only modification made, very early on apparently, was the addition of a second pick-up cavity, which allows the pick-up to be relocated - no change to the wiring as the pick-up is attached to a pcb.

The bass is in great condition for a 40 year old! There is very little marking on the fretboard, but the body does show a few signs of wear...don't we all!! The blanking plate for the second cavity is looking tired and, if I were to keep it, I'd change the plate.

The bass comes with a brand new Thomann ABS hard case.

I'm asking £1950, which I think is a fair price considering the few marks and the modification.

  3. Finally, after putting the Pedulla up for sale a couple of years ago...

Here, again, is my 1989 Pedulla MVP 5 in a cherry sunburst. It is in amazing condition for its age with only a very tiny chip on the back of the headstock, and a couple of tiny marks below the neck pick-ups. All difficult to see unless very, very close! )

"All Pedulla instruments are proudly handcrafted in the U.S.A. using the finest woods, electronics, hardware, and building techniques.  We do not offer (nor have we ever offered) any “import” models. Each and every Pedulla bass is made here in our shop in Massachusetts by me, Michael Pedulla."

Based on the unique design that first brought M.V. Pedulla to prominence, the MVP 5-string bass combines hard-hitting tone with player-friendly ergonomics, making them favorite basses for the stage and studio alike. The MVP is a fretted bass guitar featuring neck-through body construction for superb sustain and tone, plus a sleek and facile neck shape, ebony fingerboard, and a beautifully sculpted flamed maple body. The ergonomic design includes a deep cutaway on the treble side for easy access to all 24 frets, and an extended bass-side horn that provides a perfect balance point when a strap is used.

A three-piece laminated maple neck passes through the entire length of the body, providing maximum focus and sustain. In addition, a double-acting truss rod and two steel stiffening bars in the neck reinforce and maintain stability. The 24-fret ebony fingerboard is inlaid with 5mm pearl dots, and its hardness resists wear and contributes to the MVP's distinctive tone and sustain.

  6. Selling mint, unused and ungigged Charvel. It's an absolute dream to play (minimal home use- approx fifteen minutes - the guitar is as new!!). The range of sounds are super and such an easy guitar to play.

Here’s what Charvel say about the Pro-Mod San Dimas® Style 2 in Ash
Pedigreed shredders from the ‘80s, Pro-Mod San Dimas® guitars are packed with high-speed playability and innovative design elements that epitomize Charvel’s definitive combination of time-honored style and modern features, power and performance.

The Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH M Ash offers an ash body coupled with a two-piece bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods for rock-solid stability, despite the ravages of the road and climate. Engineered for effortlessly nimble and highly-expressive playing, this guitar has a speed neck profile, a 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard with hand-rubbed urethane gel back finish, 22 jumbo frets, offset dot inlays and a convenient thumbwheel truss rod butt-adjust for easy access.

Hot-rodded for unparalleled performance and versatile sound, it is equipped with a high-output Seymour Duncan® JB™ TB-4 humbucking bridge pickup and a warm, fat Seymour Duncan® ’59™ SH-1N humbucking neck pickup for killer tone, controlled with a three-way blade. The volume control hides a push/pull coil split for even more highly useful tonal variations, ideal for everything from a biting lead sound to thick, chunky rhythm work, while the No-Load tone control operates like a standard tone control from positions one through nine, removing itself from the circuit at position ten for transparent sound, letting the full natural voice of the guitar shine through.

Also equipped with a Charvel® HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge, providing endless sustain with laser intonation.

  7. I received this in a part-ex deal recently. It's a lovely amp, loads of power and that unmistakeable Markbass sound. I have no need of another amp head so...

The Head is in overall good condition but, as shown, there are some very light scratches on the top and bottom, which obviously do not affect the sound etc :D

  8. After being ripped off by builders, it is with huge regret, that I'm having to put this brand new Merlos Custom 5 up for sale. The normal retail price on this would be just north of £3000, but I got a little bit of a deal (not that much!!) so I can make this affordable. I might be up for a trade - 4 or 5 string - providing I can sell my Chapman Stick, which is also up for grabs.

Looking for £1900 (never played) or trade to the value of £2200.

  9. I'm considering selling/trading my Chapman Stick. It's the 10 string version, Ironwood, stereo pick-up module. The Stick comes with an official Stick Hard Case, Stick padded gig bag, two straps, Stereo cable, Knee rest, Spare strings, tools, Stickology Book and Free Hands DVD. The Stick sounds wonderful and does everything a Stick should do :D

Looking for £1500 plus shipping. Might consider trades or part-ex plus cash.

  15. Brand new and still in the box - taken out to check! I bought this on a whim over Christmas because of its small footprint and range of great tones. It's a superb effects unit and does sound great. However, post-Christmas I can now see I'm not really going to get much use out of it so here it is! It comes with the Boss Mains Adaptor, which is usually sold separately. Looking for £135 plus shipping.

The Boss GT-1 is a state of the art, multi-effects pedal designed to give you unparalleled sound and exceptional portability. The Boss GT-1 takes its sounds from the top of the range Boss GT-100, giving you access to tones you'd typically expect to hear on much more expensive multi-effects processors. Boss GT-1 features standard effects like overdrive and delay, along with reverb and chorus, plus Boss's MDP technology and utility effects like guitar simulation. They've also thrown in a looper for good measure. The GT-1 is built like a tank, making it the ideal travel partner for gigs. It should slip conveniently into your travel bag. It's either battery or mains powered so you can plug in or take advantage of up to 7 hours of battery life on 4AA batteries. This guitar pedal is really easy to use straight out of the box so even if you're a bit of a technophobe, you'll find yourself fully immersed in the GT-1 for hours on end. Having said that, its loaded with state of the art technology for more technical applications.
