1.
Forgive my ignorance, but after years of using combos I'm only recently in the amp-cab world. Am I right to assume this would not be really suitable for my markbass as it delivers 500w at 4ohm?
Well, you're not completely wrong Kev You'll find that you're MarkBass will deliver 500w RMS (I'm assuming) at the top of it's output, i.e., with the master volume (and whatever else) turned to the maximum setting, but as you'll never be likely to do so, you'll probably never use that much of its power consistently at one given time- I wouldn't be sure on the exact figure (as I don't know how loud your likely to turn it up! ), but I can imagine somewhere between 200w and 400w perhaps I've used the 1x15" at rehearsals with a Trace Elliot AH500-12 (500wrms) and have never had speaker distortion or overdrive at any time, but what I haven't ever had to do is turn the volume to the maximum.. It's a complicated game matching amps and cabs! but providing you match resistance, and keep the volume dial below maximum, I can't see any issue with mixing the Markbass and EBS? What does everyone else think? or am I completely wrong!?
  2.
Bump, 1x15" still available!!
Bump- Very surprised at the lack of interest in the 1x15"?
  3. Bump, 1x15" still available!!
  4.
I would consider trades for a small, powerful amp head. I will also sell and reduce the price to £550 + postage cost. This is in as-new condition, very loud and has a tone which I love. PM me if interested. Thanks. Frank.
Could I get a picture or link? I'm not sure about the Model- is it a Mini? or the slightly taller one? sorry to be a pain
  5.
210 still for sale? Where are you based? Isaac
Yup, Based in Weston-super-Mare, Near Bristol
  6. Bored, Testing at work Bump
  7. Both are 4Ohm Cabs, which is why I took the photos' of the rear panels (to show)
  8. Up for sale (or trade) is my Compact EBS Stack, comprising of: [s]- EBS Proline 2000 EBS-210, a 400wrms 4Ohm 2x10" Speaker Cabinet (with Horn)[/s] SOLD [s]- EBS Proline 2000 EBS-300, a 400wrms 4Ohm 1x15" Speaker Cabinet (with Horn)[/s] SOLD I guess I just fancy a different setup I might be looking to potentially trade 1X15" (+ cash) for a 4Ohm 4x10" (or a little larger) with decent power handling I'll take some pictures and upload them tomorrow to give a better indication of the condition of these Cabs; they're in perfect working order and have very minimal, if not no, cosmetic damage- I guess you could argue that the cat enjoyed the 1x15" as a make-shift scratch pole from time to time... Well... just the one time [s]£275 1x15"[/s] - PRICE DROP £250 FOR 1X15" Grills are a little more shiny than the pictures dictate btw
  9. I'm happy to pay the price listed providing it could be posted (at extra cost of course) I guess I could PX my EBS Proline 2x10 for the (GT6B + Cash)? Let me know what you think

    SOLD

Hey, I'm really sorry, It sold a couple of hours ago on ebay- Typically!
  11.
That's a bit outside of my impulse range at the moment, I'm afraid - sorry! If you've still got it when I've sorted out the necessary purchases (like a cab that doesn't sound like it's had a dodgy kebab!) I'll give you a shout. J.
Haha! Yeah, give me a shout when it's all sorted out, Ky
  12.
I think you're right about that - the pup spacing looks like there should be something between the bridge & P route, if not the existing one would be more central. Kyron - if you have some idea of what you'd like for it, let me know! I'm supposed top be putting a bit aside for a new rig at the moment so unfortunately I'm not too flush, which means if I were to go for it, it would have to be impulse-buy cheap! Based on the fact you bought it originally, I'm guessing you have a specific minimum amount in mind... From what I've read about Brandoni they bought up all of Eko's stock when the company folded in the 80s, so this will doubtless be part of the factory's original output. Clearly it's been built up as a complete bass at some point, but it's hard to tell what kind of condition it's in & what play wear there is. Looks like a few knocks & bumps on it but that might just be flash glare/reflections. Hard to say. J.
Well- I paid £120 for it 2 years ago (recommended by a friend to house the westone hardware). I've got no problem letting it go for the same price- on one condition... I get to see the bass finished! hehe Let me know what you think, Cheers
  13.
No idea of value but I might interested if the price is going to be sensible - always loved these & fancy a bit of Italian for the collection! Here's the Eko P/J variant: http://www.fetishguitars.com/html/eko/finalyears/bx7.html Jon.
Nice to see that your interested- I think I have a rough price in mind... It's just that it's very hard to determine the value of it... Most EKO basses are Violin models and go from 250 all the way up to 700, maybe even more, heh, I dunno!? but then again, mine is just the body make me an offer I can't refuse! and we'll see
  14.
Brandoni/eko. I think they're called "camak" or something similar
Anyone idea of what it's worth?
  15. Yeah... Maybe I should've mentioned the "Brandoni Custom" Logo at the top of the bass duh! Cheers Guys- Appreciate your input
  16. Heya folks of basschat... I'm a little unsure as to what this thru-neck bass body is (see below photos). I bought it on a bit of a whim a while back to integrate my old Westone Thunder 1A electronics and hardware, but never got around to it The woodwork looks good, but I'm an electronics apprentice, so I don't know much about that!! . After realising that my band really required a low B-string, I decided to buy a 5-string spector to get me by (which may also be up for sale soon). so, what I'm really asking is: - What is it made of? - What is it worth? - Does anyone want it!? Cheers Guys
  17. Yes it does- think that the footswitch comes with a couple of scratches though PM me and we can discuss
