3. Cheers Phil. A great pleasure doing a deal with you. Its been a great experience selling through Basschat - certainly dealt with some very genuine and nice people. Only got my guitar left now - which I'm hanging on to for a while, just in case ......... Stan
4. Used about 4 times, so "as new". No longer required. Software, leads, instructions etc. In original box. DI instrument input + mic input + balance controls. Cheers Chris. I think its a good instrument as well. I had a thing for Wal's in the 80's - also great (IMHO !) ! See how it goes. Its the 4th time in 40 years I've "given up", but this retirement lark offers opportunities which are not compatible with gigging. I may end up keeping it if I can't get sensible money for it
6. Having slept on it, I can't sell it for the money its likely to fetch Sad sale of last bit of gear. Giving up after 40 years Yamaha TRB5P2, unmarked except for a tiny spot near pick-up (see photo 5 - need good eyesight ! Ignore the reflection of the flash !) Still got plastic film on back plastic cover. Straplock retainers + original retainers. Strap. Comes with: guitar stand Hard case (unused) New (in box) set Swing Bass strings Boss Chorus pedal approx 5 quality assorted leads £1000 min, or I'm happy to keep it ! I hear they are no longer making TRB's ??????? If so, I may keep it as an investment ! (half hoping it doesn't go !) 7. No definite link to premature death by just playing the instrument, except by electrocution due to faulty earth, oh, and audience reaction to especially bad bass playing - oh and the one where the guy really shouldn't have worn that shirt ........ Think it kills brain cells and affects hearing - pardon
8. Mark ! Thanks for the positive comments guys ! Have bitten the bullet and selling my Yamaha TRB5P2 bass
9. It worked very well with the MB 104HF for bigger gigs, disconnecting the combo speaker. Seriously loud + great depth. But hassle to carry around ! A good combo has to be the best compromise !
10. Great sounding, lightweight combo. Great for cramped spaces in pubs !! Ideal back line with PA, or full enough as stand alone for small to medium gigs. Can be used as amp to power separate cab, with or without combo spkr. Rarely gigged. Unmarked and as new. Sad to see it go. £650. £240 less than best current price new. 11. Nice to meet you, Mark. Glad you were pleased with the cab/deal and thanks for bringing cash ! Recommended purchaser ! To the extent that I really think you should buy the combo, and USB mic and possibly the Yamaha TRB5P2 !! Stan
12.
TBH, if this was closer I would make an offer. I have no way at all of getting to it now. Sold the car to live in the city (and yep saving a lot of money because of it!) but it does have its downsides eg cannot do deals like this. Great price and quality gear. Bump
Yup ! Same as you said when I advertised it immediately before starting this ad Again - appreciate you letting me know
13. Fantastic 4 ohm bass cabinet, gigged/used twice, always stored indoors, so as new. Bought by me new. Complete with Silverstone custom padded cover, and purpose made trolley. No longer needed. 14.
Stan if you were nearby this would be a possibly very good can for me to use with my covers band (trolly, cover, carpet covering and 4 ohms )
Thats good to know.
