Sunburst/maple neck with rosewood f/b
In great condition. Difficult to find a bad mark with the exception indicated. 2008-9 MIA. Fitted with Ernie Ball rounds 105-50. There is no S1 switch which on this model as Fender probably realised it was a waste of money anyway. Strings through body/high mass vintage bridge.
As well as the good looks, it sounds great.
Includes moulded Fender case, and truss rod wrench with a loose Fender hipshot drop D tuner for replacing E tuner if required. (These parts will be individually bubble wrapped if necessary) I
Welcome to trial here in Coseley WV14 through amp.

Thanks for those nice remarks guys, in-fact they’ve tilted my mind into keeping It, so it’s withdrawn. However, I need funds to buy Vanderkley so I’ll be advertising another one of my collection soon.

Sunburst/maple neck & f/b
In absolute stunning condition. 2007-8 MIA. Fitted with new Fender flats 100-50. It has the pickup series/parallel S1 PB/volume pot which sounds not bad in the parallel mode with the flats. Good action. Strings through body/high mass vintage bridge.
As well as the good looks, it sounds meaty with the flats.
Difficult to find a real mark.
Includes moulded Fender case and truss rod wrench.

I’ve just bit the bullet and ordered a Gator GC-ELEC-XL Guitar ABS Case from Amazon for my CIJ Mustang bass. I’ve been comparing lengths and I know I’ll be cutting into the padding a little maybe just for the strap button.

It’s not that important to clarify the colour but it is Blizzard Pearl

In absolute stunning condition. The colour is Blizzard Pearl. It’s a creamy translucent pearl finish on alder that can look white under certain lighting. Maple neck/rosewood board. Has the pickup parallel/series S1 PB/volume pot. Good action 45-105. Strings through body/high mass vintage bridge.
As well as the good looks, it sounds brilliant. No mods.
Includes moulded Fender case, truss rod wrench, saddle key.

450 Watts into 4 ohms (about 300 into 😎
Effects loop, tuner out, and balance DI out with ground lift.
Front panel has the classic Markbass 4 band parametric EQ, unbalanced and balanced inputs and the VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) filter.
Has a superb bass tone and really moves some serious air. I use this with a pair of Vanderkley 112EXTs and really cuts through the mix.Note, this is an earlier model to the LMII and is slightly larger, possibly due to the toroidal transformer similar to early Ashdown. Whether it’s psychological, it’s seems to have more body than the LMII.
Comes with a padded gig bag.
Welcome to trial/test here. Can negotiate sending.
Cheers

I have two of these but one has to go now since I bought a Mark 1.
IMO the later Class D designs lack feel when playing. I don’t know what it is as it’s difficult to explain - a different topic) obviously there’s other guys to the contrary.
Anyway, full working order, loud and clear, nice condition
and guaranteed to get applause from the audience out there - as long as you play the rIght notes- 1

280w power amp rounded up to 300 for the numbers game. Made by the original Trace Elliot team in England around mid 90’s during the Trace golden era.
The amp is in very good condition and all controls fully functional. The fan has possibly been replaced sometime during its life. The amp delivers a great sound and is super loud. Some players are coming back to the A/B design and this is not too heavy.
Features:
- Hybrid solid state / valve preamp blend control
- 12 band graphic EQ with controllable level
- Two Trace Elliot Pre-Shape EQ settings
- On-board high and low compression controls- DI out
There’s a faint whir from the fan which is not uncommon but cannot be heard whilst playing, after all the amp was not made for the bedroom. There is also a few minor marks on the carpet covering central to the top view.
Welcome to trial here in WV14 West Midlands, or I’ll meet within a reasonable distance as I prefer not to ship as I’ve had experience with the loss of an amp during shipping in the past. Although I’d reluctantly send.

Two-Tone Burst /maple neck.
Strung with D'Addario 45-105 rounds.
Overall nice condition with exception of a small chip and little wear to the upper bout where your arm rests and very fine blemishes typically at rear of the body.
The original scratchplate fitted was black but I found a 20year old cream USA plate tucked behind my book case and I think it looks better-even though there’s a small piece snapped off by the jack socket. However, the original black one is included for preference. I’ve just placed the black over the body for comparison.
Truss rod fine giving a nice action. 41mm at nut. Typical precision tone.
Weight 4kg.
Includes Fender case, truss rod tool etc.
I have two USA Precisions of this period and it’s time for one to go.
Welcome to trial here in West Midlands through top gear or can post at buyers expense to an agreed rate courier, which is a pain but would be well protected.
Cheers,
Geoff

Extremely lovely example of THE all time classic rock amplifier This is one of the last point-to-point hand soldered Marshalls, as they went to PCB's later in 1973. The mains transformer was replaced with a Dagnall T3556 transformer which would have been supplied at the time. Just fired it up after being stored under the bed for about 5 years and it sounded great. So loud, but pleasantly loud. Forgot how rock scary it was/is. Power socket, knobs down to chassis bolts/screws etc are all original. Comes with bulgin power socket/lead but no tremolo lead (hello sailor)

Specs to the original 1963 version
This single split-coil pickup utilizes enamel coated wire, flush-mount pole pieces, and Alnico V magnets to achieve the sound that started it all.
It provides full, rich, and powerful low end that the P-Bass has become renowned for, with a warm and punchy midrange and clear defined highs. Cloth covered lead wires.
DC resistance 12K Ohms. Inductance 7 Henries.

Short scale 30” 2010-2011 in excellent condition.
Alder body, slim maple neck with rosewood fretboard - not Pau Ferro.
I replaced the Duncan designed MB pickups with Nordstrand NM4 which gives the bass a better punchy clearer warm tone. (Original p/us included in sale)
Neck straight, truss rod fine, action like butter and a pleasure to play. Strung with new 45-100 Chromes flats. No mods other than p/u replacement, no issues whatsoever. Weight is 3.6kg.
Complete with Fender hard case purposely made for the Mustang.
Welcome to trial here or can ship with an agreed price.
Cheers

Fender Mustang Bass (Japan) + case - *SOLD*
in Basses For Sale
Posted · Edited by geoff90guitar
Selling this to fund another cab set up. I’m using a pair of Vans with an LMII and there’s no complaints. I just fancy a pair of Markbass 12’s to try with the head, keeping the Vans of course.
Anyway, as they say, reluctant sale. The bass is A1 and has a superb sound with flats. CIJ 2004-5
New hard guitar case I bought recently and Ive removed a tiny piece of foam padding for the body button for a snug fit.
