1. haha that video Crez posted is cracking me up
2.
The letter prefix is the month (A=Jan B=Feb etc no letter i) and the last two digits are the year (87=1987 10=2010)
Ahh that makes sense thanks! So mine is August 2010 theplace I bought it from sold it to me as new but maybe its not since is been a few years since its was crafted, although could be as it came in original warwick packaging and with all the warwick stuff. Seen a few of these in this topic already but another won't hurt love this bass.
3. How to tell the age of a Warwick? I have a Thumb Bo and believe it is a 2010 model but am not certain is there any specific to tell? I am looking at the serial number engraved on the back of the head stock to try and tell
4. I know someone who left one of these at a gig (not sure if its same model) and did not realize until they drove 3 hours home... they did go back the next day but it was gone! I played it briefly and liked it but like i said not sure if same model was definitely a different finish though
5. VERY NICE BASS - I would like to buy it if its available still in a month or two..
6. has this been taken now as post was a while ago? if not i will take it if its in not to bad condition!
7. So how and where do we submit our pieces? I'm interested in this
8. TBH for £140 cant really go wrong, any other DAW with similar capabilities as logic are twice the price i seem to find (i maybe wrong) I wonder if the update has made it possible to load multiple videos into the same logic project that would be handy
9.
Berg CN112x2 or 212 would get my attention.
Yes!! Cn112 x2 was what i was originally looking at its just the price starts to get quite high and if i only got one cn112 I have a feeling I will struggle with volume at gigs.
10. is this still available? what sort of postage prices
11.
give Mike at Purple Chili a shout . he's in your neck of the woods
thanks yeah i will contact them see if i can try some of their gear out looks promising.
12.
That's what I think too. Space designer I think is a good reverb tool, but all the rest just sound... processed, and it's pretty much the same with everything else, unfortunately.
The new visual design is very nice though ^_^ and we might be in for surprise though as on the apple website it does say logic pro x builds on all previous plug inns and a completely rebuilt sound library. So its possible they will be good quality now, but i still don't expect them to compete with the likes of East West's Hollywood strings - have you heard it? sounds amazing! costs ££££'s but if you got the money the quality of sound that can be reproduced using plugins and digital effects now is impressive to say the least.
13. I think the logic x will be good but... as i found with logic 9 if you want GOOD sounds / mixing tools you have to spend money on third party software such as WAVES plugins / native instruments / some independent synthesizers etc as the plugins provided in logic sound quality wise are poor. Unless this changes with Logic x the only real difference between logic 9 and X will be the extra little bangs and whistles such as the Flex pitch.
14. I am currently looking to downgrade my rig from a 410 to Some thing that falls in the subject category. I have about £800 to spend. Currently looking at Barefaced Bass cabinets as they seem to pack a punch for their size and weight and have nothing but good reviews for sound quality. I am basically looking for any other suggestions that people have so I can look into them and make a decision . Another cab I have been quite interested in is a Bergantino CN112 / 212. how do these compare to the barefaced bass cabs has anybody here owned both and can compare? I am going to be living in London soon with out a car so light weight and portability is essential! 400-500watts @ 8ohms. 700-800 @ 4ohms.
