I believe I went on later to clarify my answer once I had a better grasp of how that all worked. It turns out that an OTA compressor like Single Slice and The Watt are a "compressor-sustainer" and not a "compressor-limiter", so there isn't a set gain reduction ratio like there would be on a typical compressor-limiter. OTA compressors don't compress in a linear way like that, so it's not really something you can put a number on.
Also glad to see people are excited for the new pedal I'm hoping to have stock built up for it by the end of September. I was originally planning to hold off on announcing it until it was ready to go, but I didn't tell Mike that, and he was excited after gig-testing it (which is always a good sign) and wanted to tell everyone.
