Hi guys,

I really fancied a go at Tom Browne Funkin for Jamaica so bought myself a second hand OC-3, for the octaver part of it, but the sounds always seem to be sort of muddy, growly in a warbling sort of way, sort of flat, there also a sort of delay, it's so much audible more of a delay you can feel as you play...difficult to put into words

Are these things junk or am I looking for something it simply can't do?

Hi guys, what a great site you have here!

Just to say that a great groove is so many thing to different people, to me is generally something that makes me bob my head around when sitting in traffic, maybe I mean that certain something that drives a song along, makes me finger play my steering wheel, if you excuse the pun and even better when a bit oddball too!

Of course a lot of stuff from Jamiroquai like, Canned Heat, OK it's a bass station on the track but real fun and groovy to play on 4 string...or this guys Yamaha 5 string...is it me or has this guy got a distinct advantage by having fingers like eels?
