Hi Tom, My understanding is to fit a BadAss bridge on a Aerodyne the radius/carved body needs routing to fit it proper like? So taking it off to sell/trade seems strange? Why? Look forward to pics
Hi, Hmm... sure on that one? I just put it straight on with no problems... Need the BadAss for a project. Pics should be here soon Thanks. Tom

Right, brought this about a year and a half ago. Great bass. Loved every minute of owning it and will be sad to see it go. But I'm after some thing else. The bass is in great condition. Not one mark on it. Frets and fret board in 100% condition. Every thing workds as it should. The bass sounds great and looks stunning. Hi guys! I recently brought an Ampeg SVT 6 Pro. I play with a Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass but when the Jazz pick up is on, its seems to cause feedback. Its ok if I stand away from it, but if I'm sat practising I like to be close to the amp so I can play around with the settings and get to no every thing blah blah blah. Any ideas on what this could be or how I could solve this? Also, there is a few quiet pops coming out of the cab (Ampeg SVT 410hlf), could that be down to the amp?? I no that amp is to powerfull for that cab but I'm waiting on another cab to come along to even the power out. Thanks, Tom

Yo!! I brought the vintage bass about 6 years ago, used it constant for about 3 years, gigged it till the jack input decided to fall out, Iv still got but never got round to fitting it. Its been sat in my room collecting dust ever since. Same thing with the Tanglewood bass aswell. I think its ment to be a Warwick Thumb copy or something along thoughs lines. Fitted with a EMC Pickup (not EMG). Came with that one on, dunno if there anything decent. This one has had the bridge removed as I was gonna fit it to another bass I had but never did, so that needs to be put back on along with finding a new jack inpunt and some knobs for the control switches. Vintage one is an Active bass, runs on a 9V batter. Vintage bass has also got a few marks alround it from gigging. Want to sell them both together really, for around £120 - collection only Vintage Tanglewood

Iv had this about a year now. Iv used it quite a fair bit but its time to upgrade. Works 100% fine and has got some great sounding effects and tones on it. It wont be coming with the AC adapter. Heres what Zoom have to say about it: Zoom ZFX-3 24-bit/96kHz digital multi-effects processor 46 Effects types / 8 Modules 40kHz frequency response Built in drum machine Harmonized pitch shifter 13 amp/pedal modeling sets 80 patches (40 user defined and 40 preset patches) Operates on 4 AA batteries or AC power adapter (AD-0006D) Clear and solid bass sound thanks to 96 kHz sampling The sonic frequencies generated by an electric bass are about 40 to 600 Hz, but harmonics go all the way up to the ultrasonic frequency range. The ZOOM B1X offers ultra-high resolution signal processing with 24 bit/96 kHz sampling, rivaling the best rack-mount processors. The dynamic, wide-range bass signal retains its full impact resulting in clear, powerful tone that retains a distinct presence. I only want a trade and I'm looking for the following Big Muff Boss CEB-3 Line 6 Echo Park But will consider other offers... Tom

Thanks for all the info guys! I'm off out in amin to get the svt 3pro for now. Gonna look into buying a svt classic further down the line. Was talking to a guy last night about it and he said the best amp he's had is the svt classic and he's got about 20 amps sat at home, he's got much money if you ask me! haha Thanks again Tom

What would be the perfect cab for the svt 4 pro?? Woudl the svt 410HLF be any good for that till I got myself some more money through to get a bigger cab? Thanks Tom
Hello Tom I would echo previous comment. The SVT3 is excellent although if up against loud band members then it can struggle. However there is extra gain on the EQ, without having to use it. 4ohm Cab is a must.!!!!! the SVT HLF 410 is excellent SPL is 126db, which is amazing. Have you considered other cab brands? The more cabs the better.
Iv not considered any other cabs really, I'm one of those that thinks like, if I have an ampeg amp then Iv got to have an Ampeg cab, stupid I know haha. I'm useing Ashdown at the min but not really my cup of tea, Iv of been put off them as I carnt find a tone I like. What cabs would you say are worth a look? I'm willing to check some new ones out. Iv got a budget of around £1100 but thats including the amp which I can get for £699 which leaves me with £401, but Id stick an extra £100 or so down if I need to. Was thinking of buying second hand for the cab though... Thanks Tom
The SVT3 Pro is a great sounding amp, although (IMO) isn't particularly loud for its rating. To get the best out of it, best to pair it with a 4 ohm load - the Ampeg 610 is fine for this. Using just one 410HE would not release the full output of the amp as they are an 8 ohm cab. You could always pair it with a 410 HLF though, which are rated at 4 ohms, or use the 410HE along with another cab as you mention in your post. That way you'll get the full whack from the amp. Cheers.
Thanks for that info Casapete, I forgot to mention the 410HLf. Goona think this through real hard, I'm real tempted by both the 410HLF and the 610. Hmmm.... I hate having to make my mind up haha. I'm more for the 610 at the min though, found them for £799 brand new which I though was deal. Thanks again Tom

Hay all I'm looking into upgrading to an Ampeg rig soon. Iv got my eye on either an SVT 3 Pro or the SVT 4 Pro amp. It will be for home use and the odd gig here & there for now, but when my bands bin started, I should be gigging most weekends. Now I was looking at Ampeg cabs to go with these amps but wasnt sure what to go for. At first I though this set up SVT 4 Pro SVT 4x10HE SVT 1x15E (or another 4x10) Then I thought SVT 3 Pro SVT 4x10HE But now Iv seen the 6x10 cabs Ampeg do, so I'm now unsure as I no what its like to carry an 8x10 cab around, so would prefer to have the smaller cabs Could some one advise what would be the best set up with the above equipment please?? I'll be playing mainly rock music if that helps. All the best Tom
A 575 watt rig for home use? What the hell do you use on a gig?
lol, I brought it to gig but the band I was gonna join had there old bass player back. I had to sell my old Mag 4x10 combo and stick some money down for this. Never really play this one though, Iv got a samll Ashdown practise combo for home use. This just sits in the summer house in the garden not doing a great deal.
