1. I'd be more keen to split off the 2x12 then I'd be left with the 2x10 if I kept the amp... I have a week left on eBay and a load of watchers, so will let that time out first. Cheers, Russ
2. I'll have it if my TC items sell!
3. Here is a hopeful bump - lots of views but no bites. This rig is in practically brand new condition. Anybody tempted?
4. PRICE REDUCTION - £500 takes it Hello! Up for grabs is what the title says - its in excellent, near perfect condition. Downsizing as no longer in a gigging band. Complete with speakon cables and power lead. Note: I do not store it in the garage, just having a refurb! I'd be willing to split if I had keen buyers for all three bits. In terms of trade, ideally I'm looking for something like the MarkBass CMD 121h combo, but let me know what you've got. If somebody wants to buy this and swap it with me, I'd be very keen http://basschat.co.u...73#entry3215273 I live in Southampton but make periodic trips to South Devon, so pickup / delivery around those areas would suit best. 5. What's the status here then - potentially interested....
6.
Rough price for the Musicman Sub? Interested, but I don't know if I can afford it. Zach
Ditto the above....
7. Good news, however I feel like a bit of an idiot..... Finally got through to Ashdown - they said to try input full up, and all eqs brought in and fully up - the amp went straight into the red.... I took the EQ completely out of the equation - I thought the input level control literally took the raw signal and added some gain, before anything else even got near it! Oops - problem solved - the amp sounds great now too! Thank you all for your help!
8. Thanks for the quick reply! The bit that worries me is that even if I turn the input level up as far as it will go, the VU will only read about 1/4 of the guage! True, I'm not all that bothered when playing with a full band, but it really is noticeable when we stop playing at practise, even with a tuner pedal depressed to kill the signal, the hum is quite loud! Obviously having the input only running to about 1/4 of the VU guage, this is affecting the overall output too - I'm only running this through one 4x10 cab, but even so, I don't want to be in the situation with any of the gigs I play (functions mainly) where I'd have to DI or mic up. I just can't understand why it won't let me drive it hard enough - which makes me think there may be a problem at the input end of the amp. Has anybody else had this kind of problem with a solid state amp? Thanks, Russ
9. Hi guys, I stumbled across this thread as I have a problem with my 600H. I'm using a passive Warwick, going into the passive input - and I can barely manage a flutter on the VU meter unless the input level control is right the way up. Having it that high is now creating noise. I put this down at first to it being a cheaper head, but now others who are in the know think there may be a problem with it. Ashdown tech support advised me to turn the volume control up on my bass (duh....)..... No problems with bass as tried with other equipment. Haven't been able to try another passive bass in this amp though - nor a different active bass! Any ideas guys? Thanks!
