Have a look at Warwick basses, you could get a second hand Corvette (which are really great) and still have money to spare.

You should try out Guitar Pro instead. Its a really amazing peice of software if your trying to write music, and you can also download tabs onto it from places like UltimateGuitar.com. There are tabs for all instruments, its really awesome.

Billy Sheehan and John Myung are great with three fingers. I use two most of the time but when i need the speed i use three. I always use three for triplets though, makes life so much easier. Getting forced to use three more often though, playing bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X and stuff like that.

For trade here is a Gibson SG reissue bass. Made in 2006 and has had one owner before me but it is in great condition. There are no major marks or dings to speak of but the original bridge was replaced by the previous owner to allow more access to the bridge pickup. The new bridge is Schaller 4-string roller made from chrome and is on an ebony mounting. Only have two pics to show (awful quality, i know...sorry!) as I had some trouble uploading the rest. For trade, i'm really interested in an Aria sb-1000 or any Musicman bass but any offers will be considered. Any questions?
