I want Sadowsky so much ! In Norway , you have to sell your house , car(s) , wife , kids and your pets to afford one
Keep only kids and spend cash you got from the transactions...
Sorry, i regret -

Hi AR,
I answered your message.
See you -
Bump for an "extraordinaire" instrument which must find its new groover..
-
A Wal fretless is always a pleasure to stare at...
Picts with this bass in its case would be great. Thanks in advance.
I have to find a way to....€ or £ or $. -
ON HOLD till Sunday July, 1st
Keep on grooving -
Thanks Ped.
I met here on BC a member called "littleal" last year : gentleman and fine groover.
He used to own a 6er Thumb and he had its original wengé fingerboard changed for ebony one. But its Bubinga body fits the fretless design.
He sold it before i knew it.... Alas
Good groove -

I wondered if you had thought about de-fretting the Warwick?
Hi ped,
Yes, i thought about de-fretting in the beginning. For 2 mains reasons i prefer looking for a "real" fretless :
First, it is expensive and i already spent a lot for this beautiful monster.
Secondly, this bass is designed for fretted sound (maple, Wengé) and slapping (broadneck).
One day, i thought "Willl you get the right fretless sound ? does it worth to alterate such a piece of work ? "
The first time he saw this Streamer, my luthier said : " What a instrument, they are really well designed and built."
I look for a 6er fretless sound, i need to find the right tool.
I don't have to ask this Maple/ Wengé Stage I to be the fretless (Alder or Azfelia or Bubinga ../ Ebony fingerboard) that i wish.
Am i wrong ? -
Bump for a splendid bass, better than a CS and designed with care.
-
Good choice anyway.
Will you post some picts of your new "Lower"... -
Yes, it deserves a better sound recording, especially drums.
I like the moments when the instruments turn white...night vision camera -
65 & 66 sunburst are specials. Magic yellow inside...
Good sale -

I love playing this bass.
But I keep wishing for a bridge J pickup.
Would I condemn my soul to Hell (a room full of Nigel Clutterbuck wannabes) if I route this and install a J type pickup there?

Fretless maple board !
Don't dig in this beautiful ash body. Respect the trees !
My advice would be to find a newer original PJ bass : Sandberg or Ibanez for example, affordable and good instruments. -

That top pic - the '60 P is mine
I've got that poster on my wall in front of me
Lucky KiOgon, i wish i could have it at home.
Where did you find it ? -
Where did that pic come from?, looks like mine, same wear point as well, lovely.

From EvilBay, asking 20 000$... Instruments are made for musicians not for being hung on a wealthy amateur.
Your replica is really cool, Rick. Serious work. -
Maple vs Rosewood
With such beauties i can NOT choose
A 1960 Precision : 3 T sunburst, Tortoise pickguard, rosewood fingerboard
A 1958 Precision : 3 T sunburst, Gold Anodized pick, one piece Maple neck
-
I add picts : accessories, User kit...
-
A 1960 Precision : 3 T sunburst, Tortoise pickguard, rosewood fingerboard....Magic look
A 1958 Precision : 3 T sunburst, Gold Anodized pick, one piece Maple neck...Magic look
I would say : Maple is brighter, rosewood is softer.
Both are beautiful to me.
I will add picts soon -
Brothers in arms...
Beautiful Maple. Stingray meets Streamer ! I like the "Raywick"
Streamer' body fits this PU position.
Good music -

I seem to remember Terence Trent D'Arby's bassist had a pink one way, way back, it always stuck in my mind.
Seeing Cass Lewis's pink bass turned me on to the Thumb body shape too - wasn't his actually a Spector though?
Take a look upper , i posted the TTDA pink bass link... Enjoy
For Cass Lewis, he used to make advertising for WW basses in the 90's.

I found that in ThebassGallery

I cross my fingers for you.
My first bass was a SR Ibanez too. Good instrument thin neck, active/passive PJ pickups and... a dark metallic blue color. I loved it.
Welcome to the low frequencies playground... -

Here she is. Fender USA Standard Precision 2011. All stock except the pickguard.
Like porn to me, and maybe to others? Either way, wanted to show it off.
