It has got compression, one of the tone prints, and its a string by string compression, much better than the bog standard types.

    Thats right Phil,
it does now-and tbh it's my favourite toneprint.
but when I got the amp last year it hadnt been brought out-I just never added to my original post. ;)

  2. 20 quid an hour seems to be the norm,
the guy i go to,who incidentally is a member on here has a really patient disposition, and puts you at ease-
there is another guy on here as well who i have met when i went round to his place to buy something is another I'd recommend.

  3. I've had mine for just over a year now,
    because of its weight
use it for home rehearsals, band rehearsals and gigging,
The build quality is pretty solid as I find myself sitting on it near the end of a 4hr rehearsal-and its not collapsed yet!
and yes I agree with the OP about the spectracomp patch ,I have it as my default setting.
I did find the tuner to be a little flakey tho'.
I still use my trusty TU2,never leave home without it :D
I have recently bought a Gramma Pad as I play mainly on stages these days as i found the BG250 to be a trifle"boomy"
so after the next gig I'll know whether the GP works well with the BG.

No mention of "Dear Boy" by Tony Fletcher? Biography of Keith Moon - very well written and supposedly an enjoyable read even if you're not as obsessive a fan of The Who as I am.
