  1. I bought this lovely rare lump last year, already modded but the electronics were a bit muddled. It's since been upgraded with matching Aguilar alnico pups, and the Aguilar preamp. Serial checks out on the EB site. Plays brilliantly, sounds epic and is in superb condition for 30 years old. Luthier setup, TI flats on at the mo. Trades welcome.
  2. Yes. Allparts neck and legit body.
  3. Well this is an interesting one. The body is solid ash, looks like one piece, from the 80s. A classic Fender P Bass that's been through some changes in the past. It's been routed for a bridge pickup, which is effectively controlling tone. The knobs are vol, blend and tone. There's also routing inside for a battery if you want to take it active. Weighs just 9lbs! Neck is Japanese licenced Fender Jazz, with 38mm nut, rosewood fretboard, frets unworn. It sounds fantastic, like a P Bass with extra sparkle when required. New strings, new bridge, new pots. Ultralite tuners. Bargain!
  4. Here's a bass so good they named it twice! The SB14 is a 2024 passive version of the magnificent EBMM Sterling. Like a slimmed down, jazz neck Stingray. This one is in natural, with an added EBMM neodynium pickup (as found in Stingray Special) and series/parallel push/pull switching on vol knob. Also sporting Hipshot Ultralite as part of the all black hardware look. (originally very anaemic looking) It's a mighty powerhouse of a passive. Currently wearing La Bella Deep Talkin. Very hard to find, I bought a few months ago, imported from Spain at about £1100, plus upgrades.
  5. It's a short scale, not a sawn off! 😂 The body is probably 15% smaller than a standard stingray
  6. It can be done. The Retrovibe preamp fits, and I chose to lose the 3 way switch knob for separate bass and treble. Now a mini switch. Some wood has to be removed on the cavity to get the battery in flat, but hobby knife will suffice. It's really worth it, 😂
  7. So here is my one off EBMM SS4. I'm the second owner. The bass was payment for content creation and was specified without a pickguard (or holes). I occasionally put a custom aged pearl pg on (lightweight double sided tape) so it can be one of the Stingray family 😂. Pickguard included. 30" short scale. Roasted maple neck and fretboard. Swamp ash body. 2021. It's in near mint condition, never gigged. . The finish is burnt amber burst or similar. Currently sporting Thomastik Infeld Jazz flats, it's the most active sounding passive bass I've ever heard. Cunning wizardry within. Comes with mint original SS hard case and some Ernie Ball stickers. Not desperate to sell, so no silly offers please. Collection preferred, personal delivery at cost or can be shipped as last resort....
  8. Just saved this handsome bass, it had lot of preamp hum and hiss, and a couple of little neck dings. I've sanded and oiled the neck and upgraded the crucial components. Trades invited. The electronics include a nice new Delano Sonar 2 band preamp. Original pickups were ceramic, and a bit harsh and cheap, so now replaced with plain clothes USA Fender. New Rotosound 77 jazz flats. Excellent truss and fresh setup. Finger ramp not included! Free UK shipping.

  9. Whereabouts?
  10. 4.1kg/9lb. A really beautiful example with freshly polished frets and new strings. Hardly any signs of use with immaculate original 2eq electronics, and finished in gloss honeyburst over swamp ash. Neck feels natural and EB oiled, not shiny or satin. Comes with dusty original hard case. Frets at 100%, neck is perfect, no dings. Can't stress enough how good this one is! Condition is really excellent and only let down by (5) small chips, ( now blended in with a spot of lacquer). It's an exceptional and barely played instrument. Never gigged. Apparently an insurance replacement 20 years ago, which was soon stored away. More pics to follow. Also on Reverb.

  12. Black, and roasted maple neck/fretboard, 2019. Just a home bass, never gigged. I bought this in July from GAK. Since then I've been collecting a few, so this one that can go. It's a brilliant example, unusually with black stealth banana plate. A really lovely 18v 4H with Thomastik Infeld Jazz flats. And original hard case.

  13. Made in Korea? Looks lovely
  14. Ha, yes, I was responding to a question along the lines of 'is this a stealth Joe Dart but better!' This one is for sure! 😂
  15. I got mine from Spain. Added a neodymium pickup and some black hardware.... It's really good with excellent build and finish!
  16. TI jazz flats. Nice!
  17. Still for sale?
