Here we go.... I really don't want to sell this but I've got my eye on something.. This is a lovely Fender Japanese Foto Flamed Precision Bass.. It has a lot of Mojo and sounds and plays great.. It's currently strung up with Flats.. As you can see from the pictures it's in good condition for its age with all of the Mojo scars that it's picked up over the years.. There's some cracking in the finish close to the bridge, which is common for the basses with the Foto finish... It's pretty light also and balances really well.. Hi, I'm selling this absolutely lovey Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe.. It's the older version with the smaller body. I don't know why Fender reverted back to the full size body's as these were much better to play.. It plays and sounds amazing and weights around 8.4 Pounds " Nice & Light " Full active with 22 frets... I've had it from new, there's a few light playing marks here and there but it's generally in good condition.. The original case wasn't much good do I upgraded to a Hiscox which is excellent.. There is, of course, only one control with which the speed of the phasing can be adjusted, everything else is set in order to achieve a really pleasant, never too intrusive-sounding effect. The classic phasing sounds of the 70's were often created with this piece of equipment. This is how Eddie Van Halen "spiced up" his legendary Lead sound, especially on the early records. This can clearly be heard in his parade solo on "eruption".
