Aye, that's a fair point about the impedance. From what I can find, I think it says a min of 1 Mohm, but I think we're ideally looking for 10 for a piezo pickup? Might still need some sort of buffer going into the front end

Has anyone tried the WD800 with upright bass? Had a shot of a D800+ and really liked it for its relative simplicity but I play upright as well and can't help feeling the WD800 might work better with a less"baked-in" tone possibly and the parametric mid controls handy for problematic rooms. I live in Orkney so getting a shot of a WD800 soon is impossible...

I run a GB Streamliner 600 head through a Barefaced One10 and find it gives a great clean sound which can go quite loud. I also run an HPF as the sub bass from a DB can be overwhelming for a speaker. All very light as well
