  1. I've finally decided to sell my beloved Epi rig. Its not getting used and is just sitting in a wardrobe so its a bit of a waste really. Its in excellent condition and works perfectly. Two indpendent channels which can be switched via the (included) footswitch. For those of you that know about Epi gear I don't need to tell you how good these things are. You really can dial in whatever sound you want although I'd say that it lends itself to the more modern sounding Bass than anything. Both the Combo and Cab have attenuation for the compression drivers and have neutrix connectors. I'll include the excellent Neutrix lead made by our very own OBBM in the sale. The Combo is the 500w version btw. Looking for £1100 for the lot.

If I can retrieve my photbucket account I'll post some pics but in the meantime if anyone would like to see the rig pm me and I'll email you a couple of images. Anyone seriously interested can come over to try before you buy and they'll even get a decent coffee, (no extra charge, lol).

  2. I'm sorry not to have seen this earlier but I have been very busy of late.

As a previous customer of Ian's ( He built the bass in my avatar ) I can only say that his work is of the very highest standard. I've been playing Bass and Guitar for 30 odd years and played many different instruments from very cheap to 'oh my God, how much'!!!! And the Bass he's built for me is the best I've played by some margin. He exceeded my expectations and is a great bloke to deal with as well so buy with confidence. If I was looking for a 5 I'd buy it.

I thought I'd put a couple of pics on just to show the standard. Hope you don't mind Ian........

  3. I guess the obvious one but probably the most important is 'learn your material' inside out. As silverfoxnik said the time can whistle by if you're trying to 'nail' a particular section of a song and keep getting it wrong. If you're all well rehersed you can go in and record all your respective parts and let the Engineer do his magic. A good Engineer may also have some valuable advice on how you might make small changes to your arrangements which can be very productive. Good luck and enjoy it!

  4. OK this is the last of the big clearout. For sale because I simply don't play it anymore. Its an immaculate G&L ASAT Classic Tribute model which means American parts assembled in the Far East. I've owned many Guitars over the years including Fenders (American, Jap and Mex) and this G&L is as good as any American or Jap made instrument. Body is Swamp Ash (Semi hollow) neck is Maple and plays like a dream. It has all the classic Tele tones but more Beef! I think I still have the original box and it will come with a very nice TGI padded gig bag. If you look on ebay you'll see Tributes for sale for £399 which is an absolute steal. You can have mine including the case for £299 collected or if you want it shipped add £10 (which is very cheap).

Here are some pics to whet your appetite.......

  5. PM'd you Dan.

I'm fairly sure this unit is sold now pending the usual.

I still have other goodies for sale though.

    Yamaha TRB% fretless
    Boss Micro BR

.......And for anyone who plays G..tar (*!*!!)
    G&L ASAT Classic
    Mesa Boogie Studio 22

Apparently I have too much gear that I'm not using, unquote! Bah.
