  1. Hi Marc S,
    I liked them for pizz, definitely very light tension similar to light spiros but less 'zingy'. It's a trade off, they don't have as much sustain, are thumpier and mellower but they are very nice under the bow. What they don't have is the long metallic sustain/ 'mwah' factor of some other pizz strings.
    What Baconcheese said is true, assuming that's what your looking for - so whatever floats your boat!

  2. Hi there, got some light tension spiros that have seen light use.
    Tried these on my folding bass for touring, and while the pizz tone is fantastic I just can't get into the arco sound.
    Been on since the start of August, have only been on one return plane trip since then and only done 3 gigs.
    Come in original box and individual sleeves.

    Selling my Solidgoldfx beta as I'm not using it, it's the older orange coloured version.
    Comes with box + instructions. It has velcro on the bottom but comes with original rubber feet too.

    I've got a bunch of string sets that have been sitting around for a while, so thought I'd move them on as I'm fairly settled on what I use these days. All are cut for 4 in a line, traditional headstock. Postage probably £4 for set, unless it says otherwise.
