1.
Normally there are two connections on the back of a cab. Assuming this is so with yours, you'd connect the head to the 2x12 & the 2x12 to the 1x15. They are still connected in parallel & the the impedance would be just the same as if they were connected to 2 outputs individually. G.
I hoped what you're suggesting would be possible. The 2 x 12 has two ports , one a speak-on and another a 1/4" jack (labelled "Full range"). My assumption was that they were both only input ports and that I wouldn't be able to get an output signal from either. I feel a bit stupid asking the question really but in over 30 years of playing I've never owned an amp with only one speaker output. Thanks guys.
 2. I'm thinking of buying a TC BH500 at the moment, however the model I'm considering only has one speak-on speaker out. I was hoping to run a 2x12 and 1 x 15 with it and was wondering how you would run the two cabs off one output. There are no "speaker out" inputs on either cab. http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh500-techspecs.asp Any advice would be appreciated.

 4. A combination of ill-health, unemployment and a nagging wife has made me realise that I need to reduce my collection. So here's what's got to go.... MIJ Fender Precision (1988 - Serial No E857855) Really don't want to part with this one ... My main bass for many years and consequently has a few battle scars. Still plays beautifully. and has had a pro set-up. The scratch plate pictured is not the original white one but I will include it in the sale if anyone wants it. I'll also include a functional but VERY battered hard case. £ 400 Warwick Streamer Std (2000 - Serial No B 079272 00) Now a discontinued model, this was the cheapest German made Warwick - a 'real' one as opposed to RockBass, but with some different features to the Corvettes etc. Recently serviced and plenty of trademark Warwick growl. Natural Carolena body Ovangol neck, Wenge board One MEC Soapbar pickup with push-pull coil tap Warwick tuners One-piece Warwick bridge Bell brass frets £ 260 I'll also include a well-used Ritter gig bag. Ozark Acoustic Excellent condition. Bought this for an ill-fated acoustic set in one band I played in but gets zero use nowadays. Solid Sikta Spruce Top and Mahogany Back and Sides this model gives out plenty of Volume and Depth. The Single Cutaway provides great upper fret access , while the Artec 4 band Graphic EQ gives a great live sound when plugged in. £ 140 Retails new at around £280 I'll also include the pictured hardcase with the sale. I'm also interested in trading any or any combination of these basses for a quality lightweight cab or amp. Tell me what you've got in exchange. I'd rather buyers collect but will courier at an additional cost.. I live in Pontypridd , South Wales. I'm more than happy to answer any questions or provide more photos if anyone wants them.
 5. Can someone out there help me with a valuation on this bass please ? I think it's quite an early model. Can't find anything similar on the Warwick website. It has the W decal on the head and a single soapbar MEC pick-up. It doesn't see a lot of gig action these days & I'm looking to trade it but have no idea what it's worth. Any advice would be greatly appreciated (or any offers on a trade). Based 12 miles from Cardiff.

 7.
I love this bass, but i'm just wondering about other basses at the minute. I am not looking to sell. Its a 1996 Warwick Corvette four string. It has the rather desirable slim wenge neck, MEC pickups and i recently upgraded the basses electronics to an active seymour duncan 2 band eq. All the work was done by my local luthier and i feel hes done a grand job. It's missing one silver knob, easily sorted but it's never bothered me haha Trades im after really at the minute are other Warwicks, Spectors, Fender Jazzes, Lakkys, Sandbergs (especially) and Musicman basses ( Stingrays, SUB's, Ray34's etc) im willing to put cash towards other basses, so just try me. Short - 1996 Warwick Corvette for Trade Bubinga Body Slim Wenge Neck MEC Pickups Seymour Duncan Active 2band EQ
http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=89354 Interested ?

 9. I'm offering a Black Fender Aerodyne (2007) and a black Yamaha BB414 (2010) in exchange for a 4 string RH Warwick of some description. Both my basses are in good condition. The Aerodyne has a few tiny cosmetic scratches but the Yamaha is mint. If there's any interest I'll post some photos.
 10.
Changing from 8 to 4 ohms makes a very marginal difference to volume and is certainly not worth selling cabs to achieve. run one cab from each output. in to 8ohm cabs this will give you around 350 watts per cab. The relationship between watts and volume is not linear, meaning a 1000 watt amp is only twice as loud as a 100watt amp. you would need 10000watts to go twice as loud again, hence the difference between 350watts and 500watts is very small in audible terms. The easiest way to more volume is to boost the signal to the power amp (see my first post). Do you have any fx pedals? I hope that makes sense and helps! Cheers, Rich
I've got a few pedals knocking about, I'll give one a go tonight. Thanks for the advice people.
 11.
or add another 8 ohm cab bringing it all down to 4 ohms....maybe a 1X15? The 1000 watts rating is at 4 ohms, not 8.
Thanks for advice folks. I wanted to avoid humping around my 1 x15 but that seems the obvious answer. Excuse my ignorance but should I be "daisychaining" the cabs or feeding each from the outputs on the back of the amp ?
