If this was black or red id be throwing some money and a Fender your way!!!
Good luck with the sale Karl, this wont be here long i think. -
Hmmm, thats a bit n the heavy side for me im afraid, already got rid of a bass of that weight due to it giving my back some issues!
Never mind... Good luck with the sale! -
Ive never played one of these... Im intrigued
How heavy is this sir? -
Ive got this exact set-up... You don see the 210c's very often! Cracking amp and cab, really portable... Someone will be very happy with this!
-
Its very good. Saw them in Brixton the other week, mental performance (somewhat marred by a professional pickpocket stealing mine and 11 other peoples phones)
-
Seriously still here??!?! I wish I had a grand to throw your way Lozz... Blimey
-
Amazing price for a great cab AND case! Is this a Series 6 jobbie too?
-
Cant believe this is still here? A 70's example in the COOLEST finish for the same price as a new one?
-
Lovely tone on this George... Sounds exactly like how i set my 4003 to sound Best of luck with the sale, Ric CoTY's and specials are getting harder to find so this is a good price for a non-stock Ric.

Epi EB3. Just... Crap.
-
Would rather listen to what Hooky has to say and watch him just play a few basslines than watch a "masterclass" of fretw***ery
-
Yo Charic... It was trying yours out at the bassbash ages ago that made me want one. You cant get more RAWK then blowing out lightbulbs with bass frequencies!
-
I really like that Explorer.

Another +1 to Garageband here. Wasnt doing anything, then I wrote a load of stuff on that, put an ad on an online local muso's forum and met up with like minded chaps for a beer, now we have a band on the go. Its taken a while, but I think having Garageband handy as alomst a "riff idead-Pad" really kept my interest in playing going.

I can confirm Andy's one is in tip top nick - I bought it then found out it didnt fit on the Mex Geddy I have, hence my post!
Glad to see your PG might have found a new home Andy!!! -
This is my exact rig, not many people have the 210c! Extremely portable (210c comes with a very handy pull-out trolley) and very very loud if you need it to be, someone will be very happy with this... Great price as the Stac alone had a list price of £999

Make sure you definitely get a Jap one as the new Mex bass plates are slightly different and wont fit.
-
Wow - great price!
This wont be here long... -
Worth mentioning there are some subtle differences between the 4001 and 4003 - the neck on my 4003 has a wider fretboard than the 4001, and the 4001 was a more pronounced volute at the end of it.
4001/4003 either way - i hope you both get one! Ive seen a few 4001's recently go for less than a newer 4003 so shop around, try them all and then buy the one that you know is the right one. -
Would strongly recommend buying a second hand Rick as they keep their value, particularly if you can snag the case into the deal as wwll. Of course..... do try it first! lol

I can relate to this - although in a non-conclusive way i guess
I bought my USA 2009 P Std from a chain shop in my town. It was excellent - setup was fine, sound was spot on, everything I expected and wanted from a USA P at that price. I bought my Geddy from the lovely chaps at Wunjo in London and that was probably the best setup "out of the case" bass ive ever played, with the exception of my 2011 Rick (sadly now back at the factory after the paint fell off it, different story).
On the other hand, i went to the same chain shop I bought the P from to try out some jazzes and other USA P's before I took the plunge on the Geddy - all from 2011/12 - and all of them were shocking. Badly set up, rattling in the neck - and worst of all, two of them had significant nut problems on the A string resulting in dull "clacking" string sound. Wouldnt have spent a grand on any of the four I tried! I do also twang a little bit of guitar on the side so tried a few SG's out and they were out of tune, all over the place. Whether or not that is indicative of anything I dont know.
So I think the old adage applies - you gotta play a few before you find the right one... -
Crackin bass here! Although I wouldnt say that the Jap ones are necessarily "better" than the new Mex ones - my new Mex one is ace in every respect
Good luck with the sale, someone will be very happy with this! -
I like that a lot.

Ive got one of the new Mex built ones and it too is amazing. Cant throw enough superaltives at these basses, proper workhorses yet very adaptable with such a great sound.... and that neck!

Mmm... I thought you'd sold all your Ricks George? Where was this one hiding?
