1. Selling my cab as well as my Ashdown LG 1000 head. Decided I need a combo. This is in decent nick slight wear and tear, sounds lovely has a real nice tone to it I just need something more compact. Bought it for £120 a month ago I'll take £100 Pick up only as it weighs a fair amount. Im based in County Durham. Pics will follow tomorrow night.
2. As new still boxed, pics to follow £200. Decided I really prefer combo's. Will post for a £10 but would prefer collection, I'm based in County Durham. Also will trade for a Line 6 LD 300.

5. Does anyone have a link to a tab? I can't find it anywhere.
6. Well I changed the battery and it has made a difference, going to try it out next week in practice to see how it copes. The whole house was vibrating last night so I'm guessing it should be ok.
7. Can you guys recommend me any?
8. I bought Stevie's Ashdown LG 1000, kept me informed all the time and the item was spot on. Top bloke.
9.
Did you see the rest of my post that I edited in? Pickup height can be a big part of it as well.
I'll try the battery before I start messing about with the pick up but cheers fella.
10.
I could be wrong, but I have a feeling a Stingray can operate without a battery even connected - so it might be that.
Well I best get my arse to the shop in the morning to find out. I'm certain my guitar seems quieter. Bought my cab last night and the guy plugged his bass into my head and it was huge but not so much with mine. Even my little tourbus 10 could pump out a biggish sound (well big enough for my miserable neighbours) but that seems to be quiet too.
11.
As far as I know, there's no passive bypass on a Stingray, so in answer to your question, it won't be so much quiet as utterly silent.
Hm its not silent just seems to be quiet, maybe its the amp.
12. If the battery goes will it make the instrument quiet? Bought a new amp and its not as loud as I thought. Also seems to be quieter on my practice amp too?
13. This should be a pretty big sound should it not? COmbined the 2 yesterday and it's not as loud as I'd hoped.
14. Well I bought the cab, the sound is not as huge as I thought it would be. Wonder if the battery needs replacing in my Stingray.
15.
The old Trace 4x10's are chuffin MASSIVE and you'd struggle to get one into an estate car (well... almost ), whereas some modern 4x10's are literally 'just' big enough to fit the speakers on the front baffle board (22"x22") so you'd need to try before you buy and don't be fooled into getting the basic dimensions because sometimes the laws of physics don't work when you try to fit gear into your car!
Cheers mate. I'll be gutted if I get there and they don't fit I'll have to tell him its a no can do.
16. What are 4x10's usually like for size? I don't mind if theyre heavy but I'm gonna need to fit them in my boot. I drive a VW Passat.
17.
Yep, a cabinet rated at 350W RMS will be fine being fed with an amplifier that can drive 370W RMS into an 8 Ohms load. It may be 20W more - but, the likelyhood of being able to play the amp constantly at 350W RMS is ..well.. you won't You can add a second 8Ohm cabinet to that channel at a later date. Thus the amp will be able to deal it the full 500W from said channel. You then have the option of doing exactly the same on the *other* channel: two 8 ohm cabinets will give you a 4 Ohm load on that channel too. Thus, you'll be making use of the full 1000W RMS - and it will go in to 4 cabinets. I think that would possibly upset your guitarist - but I think it would deliver some air movement! You can of course opt for ONE 4 Ohm cabinet per channel. I don't know if the LG1000 is 'bridgeable'. I suspect not, so I won't go in to that right now!
That is like Andy Rourke to my ears pal, and my guitarist won't say nothing my instrument is bigger than his. Thanks.
18. Just bought this item http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=160422099713 To match the LG 1000, am I right in thinking this will be OK? It's my first ever rig and I know its probs not the highest quality but I needed something cheap and I reckon I've got meself a bargain as Ididn't pay £150 As the LG is split into 2x500 at 4ohms will I be able to add another 8 ohm cab at a later date? Think I read on here it pumps out 370 watts at 8ohms will the cab be ok? Sorry for the rambling I'm a little drunk and a little excited.
19. For sale or trade for some sort of cab to match my LG1000. Its an old Carlsbro 1x15 combo, doesn't mention the wattage anywhere but it generates quite a lot of sound. Would be an ideal back up combo or for someone just beginning and wanting something cheap. I would hang on to it but I have an Ashdown Tourbus 10 for home practice and a LG 1000 which I'm trying to get cabs for if our band ever decides gigging would be a good idea. I'll listen to any offers for trade - cabs only. As for a sale price I don't know what one of these would be worth. Works fine maybe £75 would be reasonable, if this price is unreasonable let me know and I'll consider reducing it. Pics will follow tonight when I get home.
20.
How much do you have to spend..............could do a cash deal and trade.
Not sure exactly yet, if I think I can get anywhere near what you want I would get in touch. In the mean time I'm perusing ebay for a bargain.
21.
Hey Steven This is what I bought for the LG A Flite Cabinet it’s a light (50 lb) stereo 4x10. It was built by Kurt Meyer at Flite for a US customer who wanted two 2x10s put into a single 4x10 sized cabinet and still have it be superlight. http://www.flitecabs.com/ The specs are as follows: - each side is a 3-way 2x10 cab; they are built together to make it a 4x10 (a la old Ampeg SVT cabs). - Rated at 300 watts RMS @ 4 ohms/side - 600 watts total - Each side has two 10” woofers, a 5" mid, and a tweeter - Speakers are Eminence. - Each side has attenuators for the mids and highs - Each side has two Speakon connectors and a 1/4" input connector - The previous owner said the efficiency rating was 99db @ 1watt/meter. - comes with a custom non-padded cover - 26” high x 28” wide x 14.75” deep - Weight 50 lbs You just take separate outs from the LG into each side of the cab it works perfectly, my issue was how light can a 4x10 be and the answer is not very! Cheers Stevie
That looks pretty tasty that like but I'll probably have to settle for something old and dirty and 'orrible. Remind me never to try and buy a bass rig while I'm in the process of buying a house.
22. I'm happy to only use half of the amp for the time being I can add later. Think I understand this now though.
