www.ebay.co.uk
www.gumtree.co.uk
www.ebid.co.uk

i know there has been stack loads of these kinda posts,
but at the mo i have only got a bad monkey going into a peavey mk6xp with a 6x10,using my loved n pimped hardpusher.
tried heaps of pedals...overdrive etc.. got lots of volume but need a pedal i can keep on all the time to give me a good grungey type of sound?
got £150 mark..heard a lot of good things about the vt and m80 ,not to fussed about having a di but a plus on having the extra distortion on the mxr,but the valve sound of the vt is more what i want......canny make my mind up?? or is there anything better in my range? -
bugger,i had me eye on this :-(.....too late!
Thanks for that - would you happen to know the official colour description? Perloid White?
not to sure i bought mine s,h ...but your not far off with that colour(perloid white).good on the price as well!not seeing many of these around, think it wont be to long before the old vint, collector tags onto them? -
The Cull goes on ! I have two of these beauties, so I'm offering this one for sale. Actually, you could use it for pub gigs, as they have 3 power settings, roughly 120 watt... 240 watt.... and full power. Not a lightweight, you do need to love valves to lug this around, but the sound is to die for ! Has the GP 11 MK 5, as well as the separate valve preamp. Amp is in nice clean, used, condition, and case has been modded to improve cooling. Will sort photo's next week,
good price,wish i had the dollers :-( -
jack of all/master of none pedals.good for a doss about(i had the 50b)fun for at home.
some effects were ok but the overdrive/distortion-synths were total pap. -
Would it have killed them to put black tuners on it? The black-on-black-on-black of the body makes the headstock look completely washed out.
my thoughts n'all? it would have looked like my perfect bass(be it mexican and not usa though).
black gear is the future :-) -
fantastic neck on these, super value for a back up bass :-)
2 things in my view:
1. A bass player that can`t lock in with the drummer
2. A bass player who doesn`t play for the song, only for themselves - as in "look at me, I`m so good"
blacking up my bits n bob's on my 90;s jap tokai hardpuncher and trying to get some decent machine heads(fender, wilkinsons etc)but i cannot find any to fit my 14mm holes on the head ,the all seem to be 17/18mm in the elephant/cloud shape?
does anyone know where to find some or would it damage my haed at all if i carfully use an 18mm speed bit to drill to these sizes??
cheers folks :-) -
