Fresh out of the studio yesterday, our second EP is now available.

Enjoy!

Saw them in Liverpool last night, they sounded ace. Chrissy was clearly struggling a bit with a hip/leg problem towards the end, but she still delivered a great performance. Don't point your camera phone at her though (I'm with her on this).
The bass looked all black to me - we were up in the circle so I couldn't tell what is was unfortunately.

Recently got our first 'EP' onto Spotify! Back in the studio in December to finish off the other 3 tracks we started earlier in the year, so more to follow soon hopefully.

Andertons are very helpfully going to supply me with a replacement battery holder gratis!
Thank to everyone for their suggestions, offers of help etc.

I can probably print a lid. Not sure if I could easily put a hinge on it. Not 100% certain what this needs TBH. My knowledge of this guitar and the battery compartment is zilch.
If it's just a static lid with four screw holes, then given accurate dimensions, including the radius of the rounded corners, that's pretty simple.
It appears that what the OP wants is a lid with a border that screws down and a hinged lid inside of that that is latchable using a finger. That's more difficult.
However I could be completely wrong and normally am...
A simple lid that screws down is dead simple and could be designed and printed in a few hours. Anything with a hinge needs careful thought.
The more info the better
Thanks for the offer, but I'll figure something out myself.

If you can't find one then I'd just put regular battery terminals in there and make a cover to screw into the existing holes.
Yeah, that was my plan if I can't get a suitable replacement. Cheers 👍

Dimensions are 70 x 50 mm. I'd be surprised if nobody else had had this problem, given how poor the quality of it is. I've contacted andertons to see if they can get me a replacement, hopefully they will be able to help me out.

They've changed the battery cover/box over the years, it it the rounded slim one like this:
It takes 2 batteries unfortunately, but thanks anyway.

I made my own playlist to avoid the obvious ones... Some are quite well known like Christmas Rapping, others are classics any time of year, like this:
Finally, a Christmas song I can really get behind!

Hi,
Does anyone know of a replacement battery holder that will fit the above? I bought the bass 2 years ago as a backup and have only just had to change the batteries. Unfortunately, the plates in the stock holder are really crap and aren't making contact with the batteries - one of them actually seems to be loose. The only one I can find so far is by Gotoh, but it's too big for the cavity. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Cheers,
Mr Jelly

I'm having a bit of a clear out, and I no longer need the following pedals.
All are in decent nick apart from the odd scratch, and all are fully functional. More images available on request.
Add £5 for postage, original boxes for the Flashback and Mooer only, but all pedals will be well packaged.
Flashback 2x4 - £100 SOLD
Mooer Tender Ocataver - £50
Strymon Blue Sky - £180 SOLD
EHX Bass Soul Food - £50 SOLD
Boss Bass Overdrive ODB-3 - £50 SOLD
Thanks for looking,
Neil

Depends entirely on the band, but I'm currently doing some post-punky new wave meets Hawkwind meets King Crimson-ish prog type stuff, and I'm using my Origin BassRig Super Vintage for the basic sound to give me just a bit of JJ-esque type grunt, and it works brilliantly in the mix. We're currently doing some studio recording and I couldn't be happier with the DI'd bass sound...

Was it cliched when it was released? I recall it was lauded as a breath of fresh air among the hair metal and shedder bands.
It always sounded like a pretty cliched tune to me. But then I'm not into metal so what do I know?

Sweet Child of Mine. Horrible screeching over tedious clichéd bad American rock music.

Just bought an Epifini UL901 so this is tempting! Distance probably prevents things though.
I may be heading down to north Norfolk next month so could potentially meet up somewhere mutually convenient if you were interest in it?

Very similar to my old bass, except mine had a Wenge neck and fretboard. Still miss it sometimes - the low B did throb mightily indeed. GLWTS.

Anything in a garish colour. Horrible metal-style pointy things. The Venn diagram overlap for these is usually pretty large...
