London Post-Punk band Morgellons first release, the now deleted 4 track 'Incubation' EP signalled the arrival of a different take on Post-Punk in 2012.

After a year long hiatus the band regrouped in 2012, gigging mainly in the South-East and preparing new songs for the debut album entitled 'The Memory Of Echoes' which was released by Flicknife records in October 2013 to critical acclaim, including a 9/10 review from Vive Le Rock magazine. Skurvi came together through a love of cheap booze, cheap laughs and punk rock. They quickly established themselves as one of the most riotous bands in Brighton, their manic live shows creating a growing band of Skurverts who know every word. 2. I have a number of gig bags knocking around that I don't need so thought I'd offer them up.

Fender Deluxe Gig bag, unused - £15 - SOLD
Ritter Deluxe Gig bag, well used - £8
Rockbag Deluxe Gig bag used, - £8 - ON HOLD
No name gig basic gig bag, £5

All can be delivered at buyers cost or collected from Brighton

3. For sale is my imported SX Jazz bass that has been used but not quite abused. It has a rock solid alder body coupled with good components and liberally covered in a proliferation of stickers of bands I've played with in the last few years. The bass plays well but I am playing precisions exclusively currently so this is sitting around with nothing to do.

Bass is in very good condition for one that has been gigged for the last 5 years with very few signs of damage aside from the buckle rash to the back. Hardware has been upgraded with a Gotoh 201 bridge and American Jazz pickups installed, these alone are worth around £70. I can reduce the price a little if you would like the original bridge installed.

Happy to post if desired but this will be at buyers expense. I'm playing a few gigs around the country in the next few weeks so may be able to arrange a meet in a service station somewhere. Pictures may be a little naff, let me know if you'd like any more detailed ones.

Really like that, some good old-fashioned punk energy there. If you travel for gigs, you guys should see if you can get on the bill at The Flag in Watford. They`re currently doing a punk night at least once a month - tonight is GBH, last month was The Business. The guys running it are the Watford Punk Collective, they`re on Facebook but not being an f`booker I`ve no idea of how to recommend getting hold of them other than that.

BTW, was it the Pat Collier, of The Vibrators that did the production?

Hey thanks very much for the compliments. It is Pat of the vibrators yes, he's done a number of recordings with bands I like so thought what the hell! Played the flag a couple of years ago but not been asked back since. We've had more luck in South London generally, seems really difficult to get put on in London.

5. For sale is my 2002/04 MIJ Jazz aerodyne bass in gunmetal grey. I always fancied one of these but it simply isn't getting the playing it deserves so it is time to move it on.

Overall in very good condition with a couple of minor nicks on the back from the previous owner which have been photographed. Neck also has a couple of dents but these are too small to photograph and in no way infringe playing.

Sounds great and perfect for those that want the precision sound and the Jazz neck. Weight according to my bathroom scales is 4.1kg.

In terms of trades I'd consider a precision bass probably in the Squier/Vintage mould with cash my way. Happy to post at buyers expense, bass will come in gig bag and box.

June Update!
Relisted as money needed for festival! I have just got this back from my luthier who has gone to town on the bass, making it wonderful to play. The action was a tad high and I couldn't get the action lower, so took it in and had the truss rod replaced and whilst there treated it to a refret and had the neck edges rolled at a cost of over £200. I was ready to keep this after the work but having recently been booked for rebellion I need the cash to fund the rock and roll excesses!

6. I'm a little [s]scared[/s] apprehensive about putting this up given the number of talented bass players in these parts but here goes! We recorded at Perry Vale Studios which was a fantastic experience for us as we'd only recorded rough demo's previously. Pat Collier who produced it was great to work with and was the right side of instructive without taking over.

Anyway, take a listen, feedback good and bad always welcome!

7. For sale is my MiK Precision neck which whilst carrying a couple of bumps still feels excellent in the hand. Perfect for those searching for a slimmer precision neck profile and this one comes in at 40mm at the nut.

See my original post below for pictures.

Looking for [s]£65[/s] £55 for this baby which given how well rated these Korean models are and the slimmer neck is bloomin marvellous.
