Sounds like you've got a interesting stash of gear - post some pics sometime in Gear Porn? Good to have another grizzled veteran (if I may be so bold) with us.

All you need to know is that 'Off Topic' is where the really naughty boys hang out

All power to your low end thump

Hi. Thanks for the welcome.
More jargon to deal with. What is "off topic"
Is there part of this site that tells you how it all works?
Cheers.

Hi. Still trying to get used to the site - I'll get there in the end!
"Bassed" in Leicester/Loughborough.
Cheers.

Hi to all out there.
Very new to this, not really sure how it all works but the sooner
I start, the better.
I joined this week as I have a 70's Canadian Odyssey Bass and up
to this week, I had never seen another one. Very pleased to see it.
I have been playing guitar and bass for around 35 years and am
currently in a 70's Rock and Blues band.
I have Peavey T-40's and T-60's, Aria, Ibanez, Fender, Greco, Gibson,
Guild, Ovation and a couple of one offs, mainly using the old Peavey's,
which I love to bits.
I look forward to learning more about this site and more about the
instrument we all love.
Cheers
Flat Eric.

4. Hi. New to this game - always visiting but never joined.
Saw the post about Odyssey bass and just had to join up.
I have one of these and for ages I have been trying to find
someone else with one, I was starting to think that mine was
unique to the UK.
I even contacted a guy in Vancouver, where they were made,
who worked closely with Attila - Mike Kinal and he said not many
made it over here. At last I have found another one.
Stunning bass, great sound, our guitarists favourite.
Very pleased to have found you. :)
