I use the foam ones for sleeping and ear defenders for industrial noise,
They are worth the investment !

A GK MB800 could do the job

I had ACS pro 17 filters in and they weren't enough and so I went up to 26's and they protect well, I wear them to every gig I got too as I have tinnitus and this is the only way I can enjoy live music without going deaf,
I wear them around the house sometimes just to keep the familiarity of them

Very nice !

Thanks , yes I forgot to mention Jeff signed the bass.
-
Yes these Custom Bartolini's sound great
-
Thanks Cuzzie,
These do punch above their weight and the neck pick up does great rock and also reggae/dub with the tone rolled off.

I bought this bass from this Parish earlier this year and I think I am the 2nd owner
The reason I bough the Bass was so I could own a nice solid light weight 5,
I haven't gigged the bass as I am not in a band at the moment and it has mostly sat in the corner of my room in a case
The bass is Immaculate except a small mark which from the previous owner and some discolouration of the top the Knobs due to the bass being slid in and out of a soft case.
I believe these are the original strings ,they don't have zing but aren't dull either
The frets have slight marks as all played basses do, but no evident wear.
The previous owner had the weight advertised as 3.7kg which was the main reason I bought it.
The neck is very playable ( fast ) and if you are transitioning from a 4 string to a 5 string this bass makes it easy.
Spacing at the Bridge is 19mm and it tapers nicely to the nut allowing easy plucking and easy fingering
The action is low and it hasn't buzzed on me
Below are the manufactures spec
The bass looks amazing in the flesh and I will get some pics up very soon,
I am looking for a sale as I have just purchased another bass and the house rule is 1 in 1 out,
I can post the bass and I also drive from Exeter to Cumbria quite often so I can meet up if needed
Thanks for looking and if you have any questions I am more than happy to answer

I have the Seymour Duncan Double Back which is the predocessor of the new line of compressors and it is good value for money, its not noisy and has good adjustment and a blend.
-
I have some Bass's gathering dust, its not worth selling them as I will play them one day.
I also have a Valve Amp thats sitting around - I paid so much for it and will not recover 1/5th of the price if I sold it. I will use it one day
-
I think i'm sorted, I have found some midi files and will use garage band to play ,
Thanks

Hi everyone, I am leaning to sing and play bass and was wondering what software or hardware would allow me play back the guitar and drums and omit the bass ?
Thanks

Hi just bought a GK 800 fusion amp and it sounds awesome. These cabs would really look/sound good sat underneath it. Question..by the look of things they cant be linked together to get the full 4 ohms...or can they??
Hi Woody, yes you can link these in series to obtain a 4 Ohm load and thus extracting 800W from your fusion,
8 Ohm + 8 Ohm = 4 Ohm

A noise rating could be good

I'm yet to try the 10CR250's,
Do they stay clean until pushed ? or is there a constant warmth ( if thats the word ) ?

I'm guessing you mean Devine?
I saw him with a funky coloured One10 somewhere, yes... But I think he's still very attached to his Vanderkleys.
Hi Mcnach, yes I meant Scott Devine, I noticed it yetsurday

Scott seems to be using Barefaced cabs in some of his latest videos, looks like a One 10

I have La Bella 760FL's on my JV P bass and it has a slim neck and there are no issues, is there anything wrong with your squires neck ? if not a proper set up and a set of flats shouldn't be a problem.

Good price for a very capable cab ,
Wish I had the space at home to store it

I've recently downgraded from an Empress Compressor to a TC Spectra Comp and I'm loving it! It can't half squeeze!. Not as transparent as the Empress but still a solid compressor.
I do want to try a Empress Comp one day as they look the business and no doubt sound great, I am currently messing about with a Seymour Duncan Double Back which I like as it has a blend which works well.
