1. This could be sort of bargain... if it's really genuine (apart from pickups): http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/fender-u...s-1975/81276215
    Any clues?

  2. Hello,
I'll have jazz pickup (neck position) and musicman pickup for sale in next few days. They're made by local guy, featuring Somarium Cobalt magnets. Working condition is great, sound's good too, either solo or as a pair (mm could be wired in series, parallel or single coil - or all of that with three way switch). They were used in Cort GB74 bass - really huge improvement over stock ones. Jazz pickup is cast in epoxy without visible pole pieces. Pictures to come this evening or tomorrow.
I'd price them for 80 pounds + half of p&p.

Are you sure you want to see pictures of the bass after that? ;-)

So you tell she's blonde, interesting... :-)

  4. Well, this particular one costed me 8000 CZK (that's about 280 pounds). It's "simple" design without horn or tweeter, which suits me better... He offered me good choice of configurations (including classical 4x10" or 2x12" and also some weird stuff like 3x8").
I know he has one "spare" 1x12" cab good to go, if anyone is interested. It's even smaller (and cheaper) than this one (same dimensions of face, but a bit less in depth) and weight is only 9kg. That one is loaded with B&C speaker. If there's anyone who wants contact, then drop me a PM.

  5. I just switched from huge tube amp with even bigger 1x15" and later 2x12" cab and here's my current setup. I like it a lot!

Head is well known TC RH450, but the cab is a little special one. It's 1x12" loaded with Eminence Kappalite, made by local builder and it's totally awesome. Due to very thin ply it weighs only 11kgs, but is sturdy/bulletproof construction, because there is very clever system of supports and reinforcements inside. I had it compared with Mesa Boogie 1x12" side by side and it is not worse...
