    Ngl.... If I had ยฃ650, I'd have this ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Not bothered so much by the colour but the fact it's a Jap Aria, looking fresh and barely touched for ยฃ650 is a bargain.ย

Agreed. The colour's not that bad really ๐Ÿ˜Ž

THAT IS LOVELY. And I really don't like pink on basses usually. GLWTS.

Thanks, that seems to be the general consensus ๐Ÿ˜

Pure disco bass that. Love it!

Absolutely. Although 'in theory' you could play other musical styles on this bass, it would be morally wrong to do so.ย

Lovely basses these - I have the same one.

However, its more likelyย a '66 reissue, as Mustangs didn't exist in 1964 to the best of my knowledge.

Cool basses, more versatile than they appear and so comfortable and easy to play - GLWTS.

Excellent, I guess Fender have proven once again that you don't have to let facts get in the way of a good reissue ๐Ÿ˜

Very good, I thought the moons were quite heavy, obviously not! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Lovely bass.ย

They are generally quite heavy, often 5kg+! This one is a rare beast in that respect.ย

  6. Next up is my Moon JJ4 from 1999. This bass is an absolute stunner that incorporates beautiful woods, great (Moon branded) hardware, top notch build quality and the much sort after Moon Blackbird preamp and original Moon pickups. Needless to say It sounds amazing and plays effortlessly.ย

The only negative is that it's had a thumb rest installed at some point so there are three (no, I don't know either) additional holes between the pickups. I'm sure these could be filled by a decent luthier, or you could just fit another thumb rest.ย

I'll be sorry to see this one go but alas, I have too many basses!ย

It comes with an old hard case so postage isn't a problem. I'm located in Margate.ย

  7. I'm offering up my beautiful short scale Fender Mustang '64 Reissue. This was made in Japan and is exceptionally well finished, in fact It's in a different league to the new American Mustang. It's super light and the 30'' scale really is a joy to play. It's in mint condition and comes with a gig bag. It's recently been setup with a new set of Dunlop Super Brights and it sounds magnificent.ย

Collection from Margate, postage is possible.ย

Stunning bass these!.....had a tiger eye and it was superb!!!...build and sound, and having active pickups super quiet....if it wasn't for the narrow string spacing

i would still have it GLWTS.

Thanks for the comment, you're not wrong ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Interesting as I hate narrow string spacing but don't find this uncomfortable at all. In fact it's the only 5 string bass I've ever felt comfortable enough to gig with, and I've had a few nice ones (Sadowsky, Atelier Z etc.)
