My two Wal basses (bought in around 1993 and 2001) have been a pretty effective GAS cure and neither are going to be sold any time soon (i.e. NEVER!).

You really taught your drummer how to set up his crash cymbal so it won't damage the headstock of your Wal. -
Keith took a Hipshot extender out of my hands.
Fast payment. Great comms.
Would do without hesitation any transaction again. -
Paypal was not working on a Mac with safari.
So I used direct paypal.
Great goal, Carl. Best of luck. -

Carl...............get the Paypal link working please

+1 because international money transfers are way too heavy on fees -
Thanks for posting these nice pics.
In my memory 1982 is not that far away. But when I see those pics it suddenly seems like the 60's. -
Nice, Simon!
Things I did notice:

the difference between passive and active MK1's is more noticeable than the difference between active/passive Barts

the MK1's are not highly regarded (on TB), but they sound like fine single coils to me

the Barts are not better, but different. Warmer, growly indeed
I also own a (stock) Lakland 55-01. And I like the Barts a lot. Not sure if I am convinced enough to invest a large sum of money. -
I also have a 55-01.
What new stuff did you put in? -

on hold pending payment

The BT2 matches the HB2:

This should be etched into the entrance portal of every bass school. IMHO

So true.

No offence taken for one moment.

Glad you didn't -
Did not mean to offend your opinion about talkingbass or to defend SBL (I am not a member)
I was just asking out of curiosity.
Cheers for replying -

But there are downsides to SBL:

I have found a lot of great, even more useful material for free on other sites like Talking Bass.net.

So I went for a look at talkingbass.net but at first glance it did not struck my as special.
Which useful material do you mean? -

Is there a subscription for e-mails in which you will be notified in case there are offers?
-

Nice bass, Si.
I also am very impressed with my 55-01. Gas creeps for a 4 string Lakkie......
