Nice, how was this bass set up when you received it?

best neck ever IMO.

Sound: modern. But if you roll back the highs and with worn in strings you can get close to more vintage sounds. (Never tried flats on it)

overall opinion seems to be to ditch the stock preamp and replace it. I am going that route within a week or so.

44-01 can be bought pre-loved for around 400 gbp.
